I haven't found a single stance where i could criticize han so hee acting.Her acting was top notch,i was skeptical abt her acting by reading the comments but its total opposite.I could easily relate to what she was trying to convey.
I am just a normal guy,not a baeksang jury so that's what i felt.

Just watch she would never know,byj is asshole or not you will find in comment section,btw this was a period drama where as later one was not.

I am also rooting for mo ran,she has a clear picture.woo hyun and hyun wook are the worst.

I get it,thats why i suspect the writer more.She knows the writer previous works and be sure about a strong fl.
And writer presented to her the scripts of 1st few ep and told her about the ending.
But the process to get that ending i am sure she would be unknown.
As she don't play the role of older heedo so she have much say,but she have felt the disparity in characters of present and past.
NB :Its just my assumption.Tae ri didn't told me.

Dont get me wrong,i am an admirer of this masterpiece but same time i would like to point the mistakes done by the writer.
But i am hesitant to give full credits of amazing 14ep to the writer,bcz tae ri and joo hyuk have a major contribution to way it is.

Why is it 8.3, people now a day are more critics than enjoying the drama.

It felt like the writer was cutting the branches of the tree which itself she was sitting.But what astonishes me that how on earth a choosy drama picker like tae ri agreed to do a role,just becase of famous writer director duo?

You are absolutely right,k dramas and j dramas dont have a term as female infidelity,they justify at any cost bcz as you know everyone will sympathise as she is female.
In the same they make revenge dramas when ml cheats.
Thats why western infidelity dramas makes sense,they don't want to present morality or dont have any gender bias.
But i have very high hopes from this drama,hope they don't take infidelity troupe.

It think its the writer,who wants to keep minchae a mystery, completely isolated from outside world so that people keep guessing whose daughter she is?

Every one interprets the drama according to their pov,but my problem is not about the ending ,many dramas have sad endings and in them most of viewers feel connected what the writer wants to present.
But for me 2521 was the writers misadventure, which people like me who likes realistic dramas also didn't connect the last ep.
Only one clue that daughter surname is not a solid evidence that people interpret the ending.
And it makes me furious that the writer knowingly made it like mystery drama.
I have one question to writer" if you have so confidence in your writing,she should shown the husband and about byj partner in the first ep.Then continue their youth.
But i feel the writer feared that it would make people less connected to their youth years.
And another thing about byj closure,he is the ml and i dont know what the writer was thinking.
I just cant seem to cover theese plotholes in the name of reality.

I believe red sleeve is more deserving than 2521, though it had also sad ending,but it was amazing the way it was presented.But for 2521 i felt upto ep 14 an amazing,but after i felt the characters contradict the own they had developed in the previous ep.

How is this drama,is there any character who are unlikable?

Only reason i thought why writer has taken such route is baeksang awards,i dont think it will be nominated if it had a normal ending.
I absolutely loved 2521,but i don't want to win the award bcz there are more deserving than this.And about tae ri hope she wins this time.

The writer had an amnesia after writing 14th ep,and the result of her amnesia is infront of us.

I don't think the husband is irrelevant,because if the writer intention is to show reality,they should shown that they have moved on with their respective partners , feelings towards your first love when your married is not reality and it may crumble the current relationship.(its not shown,but by watching it i felt that)
I am not saying they should forget all the moments of togetherness,but marching forward in their lives and cherish their current moments would be more practical.

Exactly my point, people tend to justify the ending by saying, first love dont last.Another argument is reality.But in reality if these strong character like na heedo and byj would be present,the problems the writer presented would be a cakewalk for them.They can easily overcome the obstacles.
Also there are various plotholes in the last episode and it is easily shadowed in the sake of reality.

For me the 1-15are perfect 10,ep16 is 5.
So if you calculate,it should be more than 9,which the drama deserves.

How many have watched the drama if they have showed about hee do's husband in the first episode?
