Thing is it's a fantasy drama created for mainly laughter , bong Hwan had to return to make the first episode justifiable , we can imagine this story the way we want , For some viewers who wants to think them as lovers they can . For others who wants to think as bong Hwan as so Young's helper or even soulmates they helped each other . Personally I wanted him to return to present era , It did some justice I'm not saying 100% but yeah least damages , since it's a fantasy and never ever gonna happen thing , we can just imagine , all those moments bong Hwan felt for the king , somehow so young had her way too , the way she cried when she thought everyone died , her feelings for her father etc it wasn't just memory , Anyway it was imagined by 2 writers viewed by 1000s , everyone has different imagination .
