It wasn’t as bad as the negative reviews made it seem, but it wasn’t anything extraordinary either. The drama started off really strong and genuinely got me excited for the upcoming episodes. However, somewhere in the middle it began to drag and the pacing felt unnecessarily slow. The romance was also lacking, there wasn’t enough development or proper build up to make it satisfying.
Did you try the Recommendation section above? Mr Queen, The Forbidden Marriage and more.
I've already watched Mr Queen but was debating on wheather or not to watch forbidden marriage... is it good? In moon river I fell in love with the trope of them being the 'destined' lovers and male lead falling AGAIN with the female lead, but in forbidden marriage it's more like the female lead helping the male lead get over his past lover... is it not?
This drama was nothing short of magical. I went in with zero expectations, yet it completely exceeded them and had me hooked from the very first episode. Do yourself a favor and watch this drama. DOES ANYONE KNOW A SIMILAR DRAMA??? I'M LEGIT CRYING, I CAN'T GET OVER IT 😭
He's the kings killing 'dog'... so he's portrayed as bloodthirsty and the strongest, but we don't really see him…
So, how was the drama overall? Did you enjoy it, and would you say it’s worth watching? I recently finished Moon River, and I genuinely can’t get over it yet. Now I’m on the hunt for something with a similar vibe... especially a drama with a likable, well-written and funny female lead.
Speechless... that’s honestly the only word I can use to describe how I feel right now. This drama was nothing short of magical. It had all the elements that made me fall in love with k-dramas in the first place. I went in with zero expectations, yet it completely exceeded them and had me hooked from the very first episode.
Once again, this drama proved why I should never put too much weight on negative reviews from strangers. Do yourself a favor and watch this drama.
Personally, I usually prefer Chinese historical dramas over Korean historical ones, IYKYK... which might be exactly why I was so stunned by how much of an absolute delight this historical KOREAN drama turned out to be.
What episode do they switch back? How long is the swapped body story arc? Though this part is kind of falling…
One, maybe two, episodes later. They don’t stay switched for very long at all. At most, the body-swap arc lasts about three episodes total out of the 14 episodes overall.
I really hate how underrated this masterpiece drama is and how people refuse to give it a chance just bc of the…
IKR!!! I'm currently in depression because I don't want to watch the last episode and end this... after so long I finally found a REALLY good drama and I can't believe it's already ending. Right now i'm legit in hunt of a similar drama to this one 😭
I don't like it when male leads are portrayed as too 'weak' or 'useless.' Is this one strong or at least charismatic? And how's the female lead? Does she come out straight as rude?
I honestly didn’t think I’d end up dropping this drama, especially considering there were only 8 episodes left. Maybe it was my fault for going in with such high expectations from the very beginning... and yeah, that might actually be the problem. My expectations were set too high, and when the drama failed to meet them, everything felt like it fell way below the mark.
Not only that, but the relationship between the leads felt pretty bland, ngl. They did have their cute moments, sure, but overall it just didn’t feel as well developed as it should have been. By episode 20 especially, I genuinely felt like the progression and the “burn” were missing. Maybe it’s because this was my first C-drama in months, but something important felt amiss throughout. Anyway, it’s still a cute and fluffy watch overall... but personally, I was left pretty disappointed.
The romance was also lacking, there wasn’t enough development or proper build up to make it satisfying.

Till which episode do I watch this drama where the main couple is still happy? I need to stop before the downfall starts.
