I know things are pretty tough for both sides, when part 1 is going to end soon. I am not a big fan of both actresses, but I like them both. I want to clarify some things. 1. Is this prequel? : No freaking way. The director already mentioned because of their unfinished storylines and many characters, they will make the show into two parts (continuation) in the press conference.
2. Naksu's backstory? Nope, there is no story left anymore; she was brainwashed by Jin Mu and later defeated by Park Jin. It all ended, only flashbacks stuff is possible.
3. Go Yoon Jung will lead the cast and remaining other casts will be supports? No, this is multiple main roles drama. If you say Naksu is centered main character, not just her, Jang Uk is equally centered main character.
4. If it's prequel, Jang Uk will not be here as well. Actually Lee Jae Wook is the one who has been filming Part 2 since a couple of months ago. He is the one who had been on the filming set the most.
5. A lot of unsolved things will continue in part 2, like the King's Star plot which is not even started yet when only two episodes of part 1 left.
6. You want to see badass wicked assassin Naksu's cool fight scenes back.. I don't know how to stay, she is a different person now. I doubt she will continue living as the name of "Naksu", which is the code name given by her evil master turned enemy Jin Mu. She will probably live as her birth name "Cho Yeong" in part 2. She will get back her powers eventually and can stay strong. Her personality will not be the same as her in EP 1 anymore. She is more capable than cool fight scenes, right?
7. Next "Romantic Chemistry" between Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung... some doubt it and think it will be weird or awkward on screen. Don't worry. Give them a chance. Both are around same age and I am sure they'll be comfortable with each other.
Lastly, I will continue supporting AoS part 2 till the end no matter what. Let's stay positive and hope for the best.
Some people think since Uk is now attracted to Mudeok's physical appearance, not just her eyes, they say he will not love Naksu anymore once she gets to her original body.
