Do you ever just continue being amazed by the acting of an actor/actress, well this me watching our queen, the scene where she stops puts a smile on her face and enters the room to not stress the queen princess or her grandson. This is too notch historical! I love it and always wish the episodes are a bit longer

Bruh even at the old age coming of age is even 16 and by the way back then most marriages were both people being minors. So yeah go cry about it i am outraged because that's the only realistic aspect, as if marrying by 18 was too late or unrealistic bruh she is not of marriagiable age and all these bs are things I avoid, not gonna watch rape scenes as they are triggering and unnecessary. A bail of corpses torture and violence is kept to a minimum to portray a situation, if it was gore i would also not watch. No go defend that grooming bs elsewhere and again if for the sake of realism women back then didn't look like this. Another thing is the drama is obviously portraying all older women as crazy, I can tell it was written by a man. So yeah idc about marriagiable age bs at f 15

Another amazing episodes. The queen is just so cool!! Seong is the cutest hottest man ever. I just hope that chungha girl doesn't have much of presence since she is prospected as his romance interest bleah. Never less I can't wait best drama this year

Sorry but where in this review has I focused on her beauty?? That's nothing I care about in an actress as a straight woman she could be the most unattractive woman as long as the male lead is good looking i would watch. But my complain is not about Zhao lusi that yes not my fav actress but I still gave it a shot since it was so reccomended. Even if I don't like her a good drama is a good drama. And this just is so f unsatisfying, I think her acting in here is better that her other Dramas. It's not her, it's the plot!! If she was 18 would anyone really bat an eye would it have made a diffrence?? It would have been just better or everyone the same age. One or the other. I don't Condon grooming even if it's in historicals idc. I wish it was introduced in the first episodes and not in in the latests ep after investing all this time thinking I was watching a decent drama js

For Anyone on the fence watching this. This the great grooming coughs love story of a 15 year old girl that really knows nothing about the world but is full of tricks, she describes love as having a playmate at some point, she doesn't know what that is. On the other hand our ml the general is the overpowering, domeniring man that has lived his life and has plenty of experiences oh did mention he was 20 something (info you get in the latest episodes of part 1 as I thought coming of age is at least 16-17 could be even 18 but no they needed uhm to put in some realism and it coincidentally involved minor grooming but God forbid the put chubby actresses as ancient Chinese women didn't have that v shaped face and extremely skinny figure but oh well!!) I just wanna point out how he gets her to marry him, he literally doesn't ask her anything and straight up tells the emporer that he would like to marry, putting her in no position to reject. Well later on our fl realizes he isnt too bad after all he does care about her. Man yikes.. On the positive hand Shao Shao is good at crafting and looks like she would be great if only they give her the time to f grow up and do something good tf seriously

I came around actually after many friends said it was worth and it was a good watch until I learned it's a story about a 15 year old minor and a 21 yr old adult. The girl thinks love is like having a playmate the gave gone to battles and has the personality of a 40 yr old creep man. Safe to say I won't be watching part two and it reminded me why I dislike zls. It's her drama choice yikes always so problematic. I have no clue because I mostly don't read rant from fans

Literally my comment was about getting a child actor for the teen part. Not hating on him being old. Also in glitch i was not commenting about their age but rather than they casted stunning FLs with unattractive MLS. I said hyunsik looks diffrent now but not he is still good looking just looked better before military. While I do prefer noona romances in general, I also can appreciate same aged couples. Just personal preference. Also not true just because you have seen a couple of comments about some MLS doesn't mean I hate all old actors hyun bin is one of my fav actor and it's not wrong to like good looking actors while not caring much about FLs appearance since I am a straight woman lol it's only natural
