This is the plot the writer wanted to make, digging that deep into all the characters was fantastic imo. And it…
There's a difference between digging deep into characters and doing rage bait content imo. Objectively many details can make it a flawed drama for a discerning eyes. There are plot holes, the prison scene with Chanyeol in ep 4, the car accident, the reason why she wanted the house so badly, how this woman managed to kill/hurt so many people how it all started, they could’ve easily shown her life story instead of bland scenes they gave us. I was dying to know what happened to the kid’s body but whatever. I don’t even want to talk about this weird atmosphere with Yoo Seong A and Jeon Yeong Ha... So I wouldn’t say it’s a deep drama but not every drama has to be a masterpiece, and my opinion has nothing to do with how good it’s doing on Netflix. 😃
I feel like the show would get more recognition if it was just about the serial killer part. Honestly, the plot had potential, the two timelines plotline was a good idea, but they focused too much on the wrong story. The serial killer part was so much more interesting, the actors are talented, and the slow burn wasn’t that bad but at some point the plot was going around in circles, because they made way too many episodes. I wouldn’t say it’s a waste of time but it’s definitely not the masterpiece they sold us.
