perhaps it has something to do with the story got cut from 40 eps iirc to only 24 eps lol what a waste of such good story line, but i enjoyed nonetheless because it did gave me all the feels that i rarely get from these kind of stories, cuz they either bore me or i can’t form a connection to it, but OG made it possible for me to connect with all the characters, i believe if they kept 40 eps it would satisfy more people out there
so i finished the drama and it was honestly a 9 out of 10 for me, really don’t get the hate at all! people should give this drama a chance.i really like all the characters in it except for jxq’s parents lmao, the other parents are so wonderful and warm. this drama gave me many feels especially this nostalgi and heartwarming feelings that i can’t put into words. also one of linghe’s top perf no doubt!

currently watching and was surprised abt how great it is so far. all the negative reviews and low ratings made me reluctant to give it a try but am so glad that i gave it a chance lol
