there are hardly any crime/investigation dramas in either c- or kdrama the majority is romance XD
Maybe because I recently watch Penthouse season 1, 2 & 3, Mouse, Beyond Evil, Voice 1, 2, 3 &4, Sell your haunted House, etc. After True Beauty, I haven't enjoyed any romance kdrama.
I love crime series, but I hope Cdrama will not follow Kdrama with too many series about murder, serial killer, Detective, etc. My news channel already enough depressing things.
but not everyone react like you and drop a show just because the first episodes are boring. Some people like to…
No one forbids you to express your opinion or defend the drama. I actually really love the genre of this drama and amaze with the CG here, but the flow of the story until episode 3 quite ordinary, I am not excited to watch the next episode but I still want to give this drama a try, not everything is black and white.
Am I the only one who actually enjoys when main couples break up? Even though I'm team Seojun in this drama, I…
I am with you, honestly I never understand a drama where everyone is good guy and no conflict what so ever, the struggle and character development of the MLs are what makes the drama worth watching for me.
I think that situation still normal in South Korea, not just for study overseas (probably will take 3 or 4 years).…
Yes it happen in real life, one of them said "I've served in the military too and saw so many soldiers who broke up with their girlfriends in the army. From my own personal experience, more than 70% of soldiers break up with their girlfriends after joining the army. As all the Korean young people know about this, some of them part with their girlfriends just before enlistment even though they’re still in love with girlfriends. They think it is a way of showing their consideration for their girlfriends because it’s true many girls who sent their boyfriends off to the army suffer from loneliness, while most of the couples split up eventually."
why do dramas always show couples breaking up just because one party has to go abroad for studies or overseas…
I think that situation still normal in South Korea, not just for study overseas (probably will take 3 or 4 years). A lot of South Korean couple still broke up even though the guy goes to the army which usually take less than 2 year and the guy still can go outside to get vacation or the girl can still visit them. They always applaud the girl who can wait a guy that goes to the army like it is the most amazing thing ever.
I actually like the ML and FL more in the first 17 episodes, after episode 17 both of them look like lose half their brain cell, but I just on episode 20, so I hope they will gain it back later.
Seriously? Are Korean high school students actually this terrible? Do these people really have to go that far…
Obviously not all of them, but you can read from news that some celebrities who were accused of being "Iljins" & Bullying in the past, so they are definitely exist. Student's life in South Korea actually very stressful because the average high school student generally has class from about 8am until 9:30pm or 10pm. For the average Korean high school student, the goal is to get into good college and often, the competition is high, so some even not back home until midnight.
The main story really took off in the last 2 episodes, and I am glad how it turned out. Some still confuse about Soojin, but the reality is we can never know what kind of a person someone is, everyone uses a mask and only show their perfect side, what we see from someone is just what they want us to see.
I don't like what they did to Soojin. It's like she was possed by some evil spirit and just became like a bitch…
We only saw the perfect Soojin that she wants her friend to see, she did lose it few times though, like when she angry about her father and storming to the toilet and angry with her friend along the way or when she received her grade (gone down to 4th/12th), she smiles toward her friend but angrily squeezes her grade paper, etc.
After True Beauty, I haven't enjoyed any romance kdrama.
