Just how many men are in love with FL? Any sincere that truly fall for her?
I truly believe that none of the men actually love RSB for who she is--they love the part of her that will benefit them the most. The ML, LJL, is, as are most MLs, the only one that I think sincerely fell for her
I love how the plot is progressing--the fact that RSB is able to recognize the "brainwashing" that her grandmother is doing or the change of values that the family holds is awesome. What makes it even more incredible is that the progression and maturation is slow and develops with the plot in a reasonable way--RSB struggles with defending her family's honor and the morals of her heart and through her struggles with this contradiction she gradually changes and becomes more independent. I also really enjoy how the drama didn't create characters completely blinded by love and instead created a mature bond of understanding for the other individual--LJL is truly the best partner for RSB because he understands her struggle with filial piety and, while pushing her to advocate for herself, also allows room for her to think through it.
Of course, I may be over analyzing or giving the drama maybe too much credit but I have been really enjoying this push and pull and the subtle meanings that each word and action in the drama have to the overall plot. The small smatterings of detail draw the audience in and leaves the audience really wanting more.
Worth a watch??? Want something like speed and ❤️ love
Definitely worth a watch! I would say that it is pretty slow burn and also provides good context to the relationship. The acting nuances are really there. I found it hard to finish it (watch the last few episodes) but I think its worth a try! There are a lot of people who didn't have my problem haha.
I've already rewatched 2 times and still can't get over it😭😭. Does anyone have similar recommendations ??
You could always try if you havent already Love Game in Eastern Fantasy, A Dream Within A Dream, Blossom. These dramas are all pretty different styles but are highly reviewed and liked heheh I enjoyed all of them. Not entirely the same tropes but theyre good regardless.

I think they're uploading with better subs on Feb 24
26:55 of the last episode. MGTV did post an alternative ending because people weren't happy with the ending. The editors just pieced together different scenes, but the edited is a happy ending.
