Agreed. It should've been a 12-14 ep drama at best, The neighborhood scenes are kinda pointless and there just for some comedic effect. After ep 12, it got predictable and draggy... I think it's highly rated because the main leads are cute af and the drama is pretty smooth without much conflicts, like him being a murder suspect isn't even that big of a deal because it was only the brother having a bloodlust compared to like an evil conglomerate plotting some revenge scene on him.
Damn we have 2 series with gay characters having an accident whether intentional or not in the same week, poor gays can't have a normal time in kdramas without coming out of the closet and instantly written off by these writers :')

I'm not generalizing, I'm genuinely concerned as a fan. I have seen most of the BLs you have already listed already. Doesn't it make you angry that you get excited for a new Thai BL and you constantly get let down because it's just plain bad? This incident doesn't happen once or twice a year it happens every month... How about you make a list of Thai BLs that you think aren't good and compare to your list?
Also Kinnporsche is the epitome of fan service, thank God you didn't list Cutie Pie cuz that was atrocious as well.

True but you can't really compare kpop groups and a drama/bl, drama/bl is a one time thing, a kpop group takes a few months to a few years to produce/training period and they have to maintain their popularity and status for a few more years after, they can't really milk the kpop industry without actually trying their best, and for those that aren't, well they dont do so well and probably disband after 2 years at earliest. When I was criticizing Thai BL, it was meant for the non GMMTV ones. The production quality and cinematography for GMMTV BLs are really good and probably the best, I would say due to high production budget. As for the non GMMTV ones... they're just exist to exist I guess.

Well the thing with other countries is that they probably only produce 1-2 new BLs every 2 months or so.. I see like 5 new Thai BLs every month and they're not up to par... Also the ship actors being in back to back BLs so as to please the shippers kinda supports my statement that they're just milking the industry with fanservice and potential profits just through that, and no pride in producing a decent script. At least KBL are trying their best with their low budget production. There have been a few gems this year too. I cannot comment too much on JBL as I haven't see alot as they indeed reuse the same trope but they have their mature feel portrated in their BLs i'll give them that. Taiwan has been pretty consistent with probably 1 or 2 odd one outs of the bunch.
