Hero is back has some painting arc but I think it's towards the end of the drama. ML was looking for his mother who disappeared years ago, while other two friends were searching for answers. They had to go through the paint and a villian tried to trap them inside the painting.
Sword and fairy has a small part where SFL gaurd was trapped inside the painting for years.

True I don't know how many dramas I dropped because of SEs.

Will check fake it till you make it. Tried love of vivirna failed. Once I sense the drama is a SE I drop it along the way. Can't stand SE. Will check A journey to love, isn't the one with EW as a FL. Blossom in adversity and the rise of ning always rewatching they are nice. Thank you.
