I feel like they ruined the story with the heavenly maid.

For those watching this drama it maybe boring and it's understandable because of the era difference. When it was released it was a hit loved it.

I t wasn't a shit story, it's the time difference if you had watched it when it was released

YEAH I always wonder why always imprison but then even if they kill there's always a part of the body somewhere meaning nothing ever ends in xianxias but I think they should find a solution for poison mainly in wuxias.

ZL dramas always have a happy ending, just hope it is the same here.

Also think FL doesn't quite fit the role. Not a hater but not all actors quite fit these roles.

I t pretty depends on what you like or interest you. While other pple may say the drama doesn't have a foundation or story line or whatever I think it is good. The fact that everyone is always happy it doesn't mean that the story is lacking just that this is what the producers has decided to show us. Eg. there are those dramas where there plot is of endless killings. hatred etc because that is the plot the producers has decided to show us. Not to mention that some pple live happily despite the problems they face. In short it is okay specially after watching depressing dramas. Simple sweet romance with good friends.

How can I put it, ML and FL love each other but they are not always together partly because they are from different clans and FL father doesn't really approve of ML but they love each other, so ML has to prove himself worthy of her. ML has a female friend who likes him but knows her place but otherwise it is a good drama.

No love triangles, not much romance, the drama is mainly based on the ML rise from ashes to fight the evil with the help of elders and friends like douluo continent.
