I get that they're attracted to each other but this isn't a valid reason for gene to just go with whatever nubsib does/tells him to do. They're basically strangers and dude is forcing himself onto gene.
Is it just me or is nubsib's character actually kinda creepy? Legit the way he behaves got me like (ಠ_ಠ), and I'm just sitting here wondering how is gene still tolerating him? Also, the exaggerated sound effects are getting on my nerves and I feel like the plot is a bit rushed too (already kissing in the second episode? Nuh uh, this ain't it chief) Idk I might be nitpicking and being too judgemental, but I'm really not feeling this one, I'll wait a bit more tho, it might get better.
YES! THANK YOU! Honestly I don't know how I survived this long watching it. I watched the first season because it was really popular for some unknown reason and absolutely HATED it. It was really insulting to me since it handled some topics that hit really close to home really terribly. I had also watched LBC before and words cannot begin to explain how much I despised that one too, but regardless I decided to give this season a chance and disregarded the first season. I honestly found myself nodding my head to everything you had pointed out while reading your review and I couldn't agree more with what you had said. I would like to add something that had really irked me. Can we talk about how terrible type's dad is? I know that the character was written terribly to begin with but the fact that he acknowledged tharn only after he brought thanya with him just made me hate him even more, I wasn't able to find any scenes with him in it funny and I just hated how with the snap of a finger, he just started treating tharn like a decent human being. Also, thorn's 15 minutes long wedding was such an unnecessary addition to the last episode, and it felt really bland to me, like we barely saw anything from this side character and you expect us to feel heartfelt watching him getting married? Nah fam, I'm good. In conclusion, this whole season had so much potential to be a better season compared to the first one but it just ended up being a big failure because of absolutely rubbish writing.
