This was dark and deep! I liked the tone of the movie though a little slow paced, but I think that was necessary to convey the heavy theme and topic the movie handles. The casting is excellent. Each of the actors perfectly fit into their respective roles. P.S. Sato Takeru and Suzuki Ryohei played as brothers in another Epic Drama called 'Tenno no Ryoriban'(2015) which I Highly Recommended.
I seriously have no words worthy enough to comment on Takeru-San's acting! He was just brilliant as Tokuzo. His versitality is simply amazing. And he has the ability to make, not only himself but every other actors around him shine. This drama is gonna be one of my favourite by Takeru-San. P.S. I'm mad at myself for watching this drama this late, but truly glad that I did!!
Can I say it? Can I just go ahead and say it? Even amidst the super positive comments? Sigh, I'll just say it.…
Well, someone had to say it and you've said it! I think the Cast is the only force that's keeping the show forward. I mean the casting for this one is immaculate. Most of them are A listed actors. But the storyline... It doesn't appeal to me. It gives me the vibes of dramas aired in 2014-17. Which nowadays are slightly underwhelming. ( I'm not saying the dramas of those years aren't cool; 2016 for fact was the Golden Year for quality dramas. But now, this storyline is kinda having similar concepts and slightly feels being repeated.) And Hey! It's just my opinion and some others might think otherwise and love the show. Which is totally cool ✌!
