Also, I personally preferred the first poster which had the corpse of a dead child and the contrasting image next to it with the main character surrounded by children.
So many people are complaining about the CGI, but I personally thought the at Sweet Home’s CGI was even messier. However, I loved the Sweet Home nevertheless. It’s the acting that counts most imo.If the story is bad but the acting is phenomenal, I’ll stay for it!
Someone posted a theory that he is the brother of the student that was supposedly groomed by Kyung Yi’s husband.
It makes a little more sense after the end of episode 6, when he dropped the cup and the bottom piece mentioned a reunion of the girls school where the scandal with Kyung Yi’s husband occurred — and where “K” attended.
ARE YOU F**KING KIDDING ME CAN’T WE HAVE A NICE CHARACTER FOR ONCE :(?
First Jung Ba Reum from Mouse and now Santa too…??
Ok nvm, so the theory about Santa being the brother of the girl who Kyung Yi’s husband was supposedly sexually involved with is making more sense after the end of episode 6, when he dropped the cup and the bottom piece mentioned a reunion of the girls’ school —where “K” also attended.
Now I think that Santa isn’t necessarily a villain but isn’t an ally at the moment either. He probably holds some sort of resentment for Kyung Yi and is looking for the perfect chance to expose or take her down by watching her every move? Could explain why he’s always following her around and doesn’t refuse to anything she says.
Soooo, anyone like to summarize for who why this has an 8.1 when it's barely started? I'm making sure not to watch…
Honestly, I’m enjoying it so far! Don’t worry about the ratings just yet, especially since we’re on MAL ( the critics on here aren’t very reliable ). I’ll admit that the first half of episode 1 was slow paced, but I very much liked the second half. Maybe it’s also because slow-paced, black comedies aren’t everyone’s cup of tea.
So, I’d recommend it if you’re into that type of stuff!
Guys don’t worry too much. The CGI in Sweet Home wasn’t …the best…but it still gained a lot of fans and high ratings because the acting made up for it.
