Yo you’re right, I just watched with subs and I really dislike his character. I really enjoy the series so far but I hope YDM gets character development.
I hope Yoon Dong Man gets character development, his character frustrates me. I feel bad for Kang Sun Ho…what did they want him to do? Somehow make 7,000 dollars over night? Them police officers would have rather preferred Mr.Yoon to die…and like Sun Ho said, he was stealing from bad people anyways…
The person that said they found Yoon Dong Man annoying, I totally agree with you. I know it’s only been the first episode but I don’t really like his character right now but besides that the first episode was enjoyable! I’m so glad this isn’t a one episode a week drama since that is becoming a trend now in the kdrama industry.
I'm waiting for it to be subbed but from the trailers I can kinda get why you would dislike him already. The characters who are aggressive and cold to everyone for no reason tick me off.
I’ve only watched Someday or One day but the others look interesting! Taiwanese dramas tend to be really heavy and dark so I would need to watch something light after this. Maybe rewatching Weightlifting Fairy would be a good option.
SCHOOL 2013 , Personally my favourite out of the 3, it didn’t have any romance and focused on friendships more which was pretty rare for dramas back then.
SCHOOL 2015, Okay. It was average to me, nothing spectacular but it wasn’t horrible either. My least favourite out of the three though.
SCHOOL 2017, Good. I liked it, unlike the other two it had a more interesting plot? Although it started to slow down around 8 episodes in it was still interesting enough to keep me watching it.
I don't know how they could possibly better the original cast. Park Sung Woong proves he can deliver an ace performance…
Is it confirmed that the old cast won’t be in the drama adaptation? If they won’t I don’t think I’ll watch it. It will feel weird because the main reason I stayed was because of the acting and the fact I’m slightly into the body swap concept.
As someone who loved both the anime and the manga I can't say that this was disappointing. It was quite good actually, but I felt like it would have been much better if they made a drama adaptation instead of a movie.
I read the plot and said to myself "Hey, this kinda sounds like this one manga I read where bullies commit arson and the victim's survive family member takes revenge by killing them off brutally." The only reason I remembered this manga is because it had a very distinct art style compared to your usual manga and it was also made by the same creator of the manga and anime series 'High Score Girl' which is very cute and wholesome compared to Liverleaf.
Turns out I was right lol, I didn't realise this was an adaptation from the manga but wow...the death scenes are indeed brutal so fair warning even though it looks completely unnrealistic and weird? Maybe I had different expectations after reading the manga lol.
So what movie adaptation of a gory manga are we going to have next? Pumpkin Night? Everyone would be throwing up if it gets an anime adaptation hell a live action though lol.
