I totally agree with you! I love PBY and SIG since he was in The Smile That Had Left Your Eyes and Reply 1997 but this drama just proves that just because it has a good casting it doesn’t mean it’s a good drama. I kinda liked it at first but it really just went down the drain..
Honestly, I was pretty excited for this drama cuz of the casting and everything but it’s sooo repetitive and boring, they’re always breaking up and getting back together every episode and it’s stupid. I don’t get why the rating is so high, youth of May and law school and my Roomate is a Gumiho deserve higher ratings than this imo. Such a shame, this a was a good cast. I’m officially dropping this, someone let me know if it gets better and I might check it out again.
Edit ; I'm surprised no one's attacking me for my opinion, since that's how it is nowadays. Remember people, just because there's good casting doesn't always gurantee 100% good results, though I will agree that the visuals are stunning so for those who are only staying for the visuals I won't be surprised at all.
Should I start or not ?? Anyway I'm romantic fantasy lover but I fear love triangle and low budget dramas. Can…
It’s only called a love triangle because the SML is interested in her, Lee dam has whatsoever no feelings towards him. It feels like she doesn’t even want to be friends with him either so haha
Over its first two weeks this show has already ticked several classic k-drama romcom boxes with lingering hugs,…
I don’t mean this in a rude way at all, I really don’t. But I’m just curious, what type of dramas do you like? It’s just, whenever I see you in comments sections or reviews you almost always seem to be giving out negative reviews. Again, I don’t mean this rudely so please do not misunderstand.
Sorry lmao. The last time I sent a link on this site my account was banned so just copy and paste the Hangul title/native version onto google and there should be a Webtoon page. But there’s no English translation so you’d have to read it in Korean.

I think Episode 4 has to be the best episode yet, in my opinion. I really enjoyed it more than the other episodes. I love how Lee Dam told off the jerks who degraded her and the ‘fake’ friends she really didn’t hesitate and I love that about her character. I also felt satisfied when she told of Sun Woo, making sure he knew what he did wrong by standing still and letting this happen. It shows how relatable and likeable her character is. I wish we can have more people like her. Those jerks got told off real good and unfortunately I don’t think this is the least time we’ll be hearing from them.
Also I found it hilarious how Woo Yeo shifted into her without a problem haha, did not expect that. I had a good laugh this episode and cried along with Lee Dam when she broke down.
Okay, maybe a lot of people may not like this drama since it doesn’t really have a specific plot which may annoy people but honestly, that’s one of the good things about it. It managed to entertain me without needing to have a huge plot, some people may disagree with me and that’s fine since this is solely my opinion. I like how the drama throws away the usual annoying romcom plot where the ML is a rich guy with a cold personality and the FL is a poor, whiny brat who’s almost always complaining. In this one it’s actually quite the opposite, the ML is a cheery, selfless and awkward character who always puts others first, the FL is a movie translator with self-confidence that makes her a really likeable character. The second lead couple’s roles are switched. The 2ML is a poor college student with a hobby for painting and is quite sensitive at times, the 2FL is a cold, fierce chaebol ( which is nice for once ) . The cast overall is great and the acting just makes it all better, I really love Run On and even though romance isn’t always my cup of tea compared to other genres this will always remain a gem in my heart.
