The series is also playing it smart - it's taking traditional BL rules and twisting them a bit. Sure, we have the annoying girl (which I hate this troupe) who is out for her man, but we have two viable love interests that could work in the end. I appreciate that. The series is refreshing and I've been enjoying it - I look forward to future Korean BL series :)

I'm going to start by saying that I AM enjoying the series. However, I really wish BL series would move away from making the female side characters either aggressively flirty with no social awareness that the guy isn't interested, and also using the side female characters the "evil ex who will do everything to ruin everyone's lives." I'm halfway through this episode and I want to push Juno into the water because if you can't see just how uncomfortable Sun is you're blind. Sigh. I miss Manaow and Del from Until We Meet Again - Friend GOALS! <3

Everything you just said! I love that Namgoong has no issue calling out Sohee for her shenanigans. He playfully reminds her that she's being a brat toward Tae Kyung and that she needs to treat people as she wants to be treated. I would love to have a friend like him! Shinwoo punched me in the heart during the hallway scene where he holds his hand to his and says "Why is this happening again?" TT TT To me he seems to be doing everything he can to reject the feelings he has inside because he was taught it is unnatural. And the insight we got into Daeon's home life...ugh, this series is so wonderful. I can't believe we have TEN more episodes - I'm just glad we get two a week because I'd be crying right now waiting!

I mean - it depends on how you look at it. It's happy until the narrative was like ONE LAST SCARE, but I don't think it's meant to be unhappy - just a cheap jump scare for the road.

I think Beom Kyu is fine - according to an article I read his reps stated, " right after requesting a complaint and investigation to seek punishment for illegal acts against Jo Byeong-gyu, the writer of the false post contacted us to admit it was false and apologized." So, if this is accurate there shouldn't be any consequences against him.

Yes to everything you said. I really liked that this drama had real tense and emotional moments. And while shocked at just how diabolical Lhong was, I thought it made for a great EVIL character. So, when we are given that scene where he cries in his sister's arms I was horrified - why isn't this character facing ANY consequences?! And then it appears there's a special Lhong episode? No thank you.
