I have always felt that a 4-person clique is an overkill. Too cliche. Very Mean Girls and Jawbreaker. One or two wouldn't have as much speaking lines as the rest. But I guess they needed to expose the newbie actors.

Yea sun/mork wasn't the best ship -- I was okay with them. They had their fair share of exposure in Dark Blue Kiss. Too bad Pod and Gawin did not have a follow through show after that. Pod's just not clicking for me though, even when he switched partners (Khaotung).

What if Pran stands in for the actor who plays Kwan in the end -- whilst they were in the midst of an unresolved conflict. The parents and the friends forced to watch the play and sees how terrible the ending of Kwan and Riam's story is. Realises they don't want that to happen to Pran and Pat.

The dads could have had something in the past, had a long standing rift about it until they both decided to get married (their wives not knowing anything and just carried on with the rift). Not crazy enough for us?
What if the dads were best friends since childhood, one had secret feelings for the other and eventually confessed but turned out to be unrequited, which started the feud.
I wouldn't mind that plot twist though. There was a series in Manila that tackled that though. The dads were ex-boyfriends, the sons were best friends and never knew about the past. look for Ben X Jim. It ran for two seasons. Not sure if Eng Subs are readily available.
