The one thing I do admire about this series is the female lead. She wasn’t stuck n dramatics, and she was far more mature than any of her counterparts. She was very clear of her feelings to every. She spent the entire series being the best her she could be, not because she wanted to be equal, she knew she WAS equal.

The ending is good, and he’s definitely broody over loosing his parents, but secretly helping her all alone. I can’t really compare it to those. She’s clueless, and he’s withdrawn in puppy love.
But it could have improved had it been 10 episodes shorter. It was repetitive and draggy
But otherwise, just the lingo is similar
