true but I waited 2-3 years for Love Alarm 2 only to be disappointed by that season so I am really numbed out on open endings and long waits lol

for me, having an opened ending is just something that I'm used to with dramas and I don't mind all that much, especially since Jaechan and Seoham are so on board for a season 2, and with it's popularity, that having an open ending could mean good things for the possibility of a second season after Seoham's military service

I thought the voting thing was to determine the side characters? Unless I'm remembering the situation differently, but I do remember the voting situation and how a lot of people were scared it'd be a classic Kdrama because they were voting on male and female leads

I agree, but at the same time there was really no telling that Semantic Error would blow up like this, to be honest I followed SE's production since they were doing casting calls and I thought it would just be another BL, but after the first 4 episodes it grew in popularity because it was just so good. So while yes I would agree that this series would've performed a lot better if it wasn't competing with SE, it was impossible to tell if SE was going to rise in popularity

A long distance relationship could have the potential of being sort of a reason why for a season 2 to be made, so we could see them reunite
