I agree with the last part. They casted Seo Kang Joon in this kind of drama as his last project right before military service, of course he willingly chose to act this. I think it was because of this writer's previous works, they were well-received.
This is sick. He was supposed to be in the army for almost two years with no projects. He should have acted in a romcom or melo instead of this. It killed his potentials. Among projects before military service, Seo Kang Joon's Grid was the weakest. It reminds me of Joo Won who has also been in wrong drama choices.

Yes CITT was universally disliked. But it was very popular and create a lot of buzz. His character and acting was well-received. "Are you human too" was good, but not as popular as CITT. Later his drama choices were not good.

It would be much better if they make it a Netflix original like AOUAD or SG. Here is different because they will air at tvN and Netflix at the same time. Still called as a tvN drama. So the domestic rating and criticism is important.

No doubt he is very talented and handsome. He has been in male lead status quite a while now. But his most successful drama was CITT where he was second male lead.

As far as I know, he set up his own agency, "Man of Creation" with other two members of 5urprise after they all left Fantagio. Since they're on their own, probably have some difficulties.

This drama has the best cast. These actors are so talented, from our main guy, to the ghost to even the murderer guy. They're crazy good. Hope they all reunite together in a better written and non Disney+ drama.

I love Lee Joon Ki and Shin Se Kyung so much. Want to see them together in a project. But this is not it. As a huge fan of Arthdal, we have been waiting for season 2 for a long time. Arthdal received bad reviews and low rating in Korea. But we loved it so much. We have been dealing and enduring with all haters. What we get now is replacing main actors. It's better to cancel now.
The only Season 2 Lee Joon Ki needs to appear is Moon Lovers.

I am sorry but I don't want season 2 at all. I got enough with this mess. I definitely enjoyed first half, it went downhill. I hate this kind of ending. This drama has very good cast ensemble. But it wasted their talents. All the actors here deserve better projects. After Kang Joon discharge, he should act in romcom or sageuk, but stay away from sic-fi.
