Main Leads having lack of chemistry, felt like an unbalanced romance. No electricity at all. They tried to place rivals on every romance available to create some tension, but failed nonetheless. It was just a futile effort given weak narrative. The only eye candies I had was seeing Nana-chan acting and the cinematography. Anything else just faded to oblivion. if you want to see a strong romance with memorable beach settings, then go for Beach Boys instead. More coherent character depth. 7/10. The story is believable until that passionate kiss near the end when the house finally finished built. Feels out of place and so forced. From there the ending just as bad, ML felt no need to mend his unable to gather courage to confess when he's young. Maybe too close to his own true story, the writer director still can't escape his ghost. 6.5/10

Spot on portraying actual social issue in Japan. Aging society, abandoned geriatric. Has a moral message between pro-life or pro-choice. Is killing your old sickly relative liberating or just an escapade of grueling fight? Make the most time with your old parents when they are still with you.
