Thank you for the explanation, still I didn't like it. Feel out out of place and as I said it earlier up above. Off-pitch and out of tune. There is a reason they didn't make it as popular as The Beatles were. Even Jefferson Airplane sounds so much better

For the 8 episodes I can only feel it is an action on its finale. Mostly drama or suspense on prior 7 eps. I get it the director is not Japanese, so maybe the cinematography and vibe not very nostalgic to 1970's or even 2000's Shinobi's flicks.

The soundtrack was trying to hard to get into 1960-1970 acoustics but failed horribly for me. They are mostly off-pitch and out of place eventually. Really watering down the scene.

Saving grace is the casting really well done. Story while there are minor plot-holes here and there major line is good. And the twist while it's so predictable still acted well. So if you crave for some Shinobi action try it while so rare nowadays. 7/10

idk why ML didn't just tie the antagonist up when in the server hive. It's just too conveniently sloppy plot forced.

I'm on ep 5 laughed so hard the forbidden blood marriage 4 generation link to line up and down XD

The english reminded me of Nodami Cantabile' s Professor dialect, played by baldy forgot his name.

Good acting both the protagonist and the antagonist, either having distinct charm. Even the child actress impressing. Story a bit uneven, excellent ending tho. Leaving a bittersweet after taste. 8/10

Just watched it. The movie told a story from 3 perspectives:
1. The mother
2. The teacher
3. The boy

To fully understand a story, in real life we should see it in different perspectives too.

imho the real monster is Hoshikawa father.

The theme reminds me of Straight Time (1978), starring Dustin Hoffman

The song cringe, acting half-baked. Was ok for killing time if nothing else better to watch. 6.5/10
