This is the first drama I couldn't watch cuz I don't have IQIYI subscription. And honestly I was really really looking forward to watching it. If someone knows a way to watch it without subscribing, please let me know too.

Yes, at first it started with mainly the fight between 2 MLs. But 2nd ML had to give up as the story progressed. And there wasn't too much fighting for the FL, as MLs had other differences to fight for. They did unite in the last few eps tho.
ML basically was killed by FL on ML's request, to seal off the evil. But then the last scene shows them facing each other, but it doesn't make much sense as he had died.

That's true, though, I really like badass female leads, I can relate to her life though, i.e. no matter how brave one is, not everyone can change into a killer or something similar.

Well, I personally think she is not weak, but rather brave for a normal person. Moreover in real life, not everyone can have the mindset of a killer and be Zhao Yao of The Legends(a drama by Bai Lu). Also, killing itself is not good, but just looks interesting in dramas, so I don't think she did anything wrong by hesitating to kill.
