I dont like to watch dramatic shows, but I dive in this republican era drama , and I have no regrets, It might be tragic but I could really feel the love, YTC beads, JYL calling CYZ , his tears , him Collapsing in the floor.. I can truely feel the love.... But I still want to see a happy ending, I am truely hoping for the spin off to be true

He was sad, but at the ending scene it looks like he is smiling, This is how I interpret it, he still has someone he must protect( yizhu's sister). Its like yizhu left but he left a part of him (his sister), it like she is their child XD
I have rewatch the ending like 3-5 times Im starting to like it XD, I dont even like tragic ending XD Jiang yuelou calling chen yizhu name, his tears. And when flashbacks started it made me smile I was worried for jiang yuelong's mental health but at the end you can see him smiling.
