Exactly! I get so heated about it too because it was all him. But he just goes back as if he was just being used as a puppet to bring the queen closer to the king. WHICH IS THE SH!TTIEST thing! It's not like he was some supernatural creature that came to make her life better. Like he was a human being who already had a life he was perfectly happy with. But that was taken away from him too. Not to mention, in the beginning, it was shown that they had completely switched lives. (there was a scene of the queen in the chefs body in the present world trying to flirt with men at a club) While the chef was having a hard time adjusting and wanting to go back to where he belongs, the queen didn't even look like she cared about what could be happening to her "lover" or family back home, and was just having the time of her life in that she got another chance. Then they suddenly go in a comatose state and they are suddenly going back and forth, as if whats happening has no logic behind it and someone is just playing around with them (idk if what actually happened was explained) but I found it so ridiculous as the guy who worked so hard, built relationships, and finally started feeling alright, had that very thing ripped away from him AGAIN while the queen who did sh!t and got everything. LIKE huhhhhhhhhh???

For Korea, the drama is simply excellent, but for a sophisticated viewer it will be predictable in some places,…
wait i don't understand, wdym "sophisticated viewer"? /gen. Do you mean like, viewers who haven't been watching kdramas for long, or like, an older audience, or perhaps something else. And when you say "for Korea", do you mean like, considering it was made in korea, it's a pretty good drama, or if a korean were to watch this they'd think it's an excellent drama? ( i'm genuinely confused sorry)

IMO its not the drama that is not good, just not match with your standard (differemt standard is applied for different…
I agree, honestly, maybe it might have been an aspect that you don't enjoy watching in dramas that made you dislike it as Flower of Evil focuses more on love and how far it can go, my mister nor signal have much romance driving the plot. It's okay that you didn't like the drama, it really cant be for everyone

I don't know about others but i find this quite boring at least till the episodes I watched (3) . Maybe it one…
it wouldn't be a drama for everyone naturally, as it is more focused on mature themes, its natural for some audiences to go into it feeling a bit disheartened by the slow pace of the show, but if you like shows like world of the married, mother, or signal, you'd find this just as good

Title Run On
A question I have before I start the series, does the FL play around? as in, does the show rely on a love triangle to keep viewers entertained, or does it actually have a plot?

You're right, I also feel like the biggest problem between all the relationships was communication, which may have been the reason they became so toxic. but the show was still quite enjoyable for me ?

I actually really liked that about this show lol, 6/10 kdramas have the men with the problems and women carry the load of ?, with 4 out of that 10 having both of them carry their own issues. It was fun to see it on the other side for me. I just wish they explored more than just the love life, like life in Korea for a young adult, family relationships and so on, but the title kind tells us otherwise

this is a healing show, maybe after finishing a very intense show or after a long mentally exhausting day, this is the type of show to watch. It's different a feels like a new gem in a heap of diamonds. might not be your favourite gem, but you admire and love its uniqueness and simplicity.

are we ever going to address how abusive the relationship is at the beginning and the very unrealistic messages it sends to younger audiences? Thankfully times have changed a bit, but this was uncomfortable to watch
