Started out really well especially with the surprise twist to the male lead in episode 6, first time I see it in a kdrama. But somehow got really boring in the later parts, mostly due to the script.

The one school drama that I enjoyed the most. Just one minor issue, how on earth did the writers think it was a good idea for eun bi to end up with yi an instead tae kwang?

To be honest, yes it's a simple story but I have to say it's an enjoyable watch at least, you definitely won't be bored. Starts a bit slow and picks up by eps 3

It really only get exciting after episode 9 if you can sit through till then you probably really enjoy this drama

To be honest I was hoping the ending was at least kang sun ho working together with yu dong man officially as police officers

My god they literally run out of story for the last episode. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Started out quite well and was interesting until that 1 week break/last three episodes and everything went wrong from there. I mean the break up out of nowhere and kang sun just hacking to bring down all the illegal sites at the end, couldn't he have just done that from the beginning?

One of the best kdrama storyline. TBH took awhile for me to watch another kdrama after setting the bar so high. Fun fact, this drama really shows you the power of an American passport at the time🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣, honestly the ML would have been killed several times without it. Also be warned, there's an age gap but really wasn't as obvious as goblin. I mean at least the FL doesn't look like she's in highschool.

Honestly like goblin it picks up after the first half just that the first half for this was way slower than goblin. But if you manage to sit through, it will start to get exciting after the first 8 episodes. However I have to say the pay off wasn't as good as goblin, I remembered being more excited for goblin last few episodes. Err oh yes positives, I remembered getting a mechanical keyboard because of this drama so there's that.

Errrrr so is the main guy running the gambling site kang sun ho now? Just saying, they really shouldn't have taken that one week break, I lost interest in the show during that break and only continue because there's like 2 episodes left

Yes but iris 2 wasn't as good as iris 1 so the frustration wasn't really as bad

Started out pretty well and interesting but got freaking boring by the end. Actually not really any fault of the female lead, she played her role well. The director and writer they kind of ran out of ideas towards the end. I remembered getting super bored because of the storyline and not because any actors or actress. How the TV station thought it was a good idea to give this a season 2 and 3 but gu family book only got 1 season is beyond me.

Review ask for rewatch value😅😅😅😅, I salute anyone who can watch the last few episodes of this series again.

The worst ending I've ever seen in a kdrama. Honestly so far I have never watched a kdrama that has manage to produce a worse ending than this.

Ahhhh yes, palace political drama frustrating to watch as always. So I get that han ga in is really pretty and I usually don't have a problem with the acting in kdrama cause hey who am I to judge but still it would have been better if she has more than one facial expression, into like 5 episodes and she only makes one facial expression. Update: finished the entire drama, good to know at least she consistently gave the same blank expression throughout the show🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Really good OST from lynn by the way

Road to hell is paved with good intentions. Started out with a foundation to help fellow police officers, then somewhere along the way, they lost their way and started a gambling ring to financially support the foundation. On a separate note, i still want to punch the second male lead and his extremely white BFF in the face.

Oh god I'm on episode 14 and it looks like it's going the same way as the prequel where zhou shoucheng basically screwed himself because of honour and principle. So I have to know is this a happy ending or a sad ending? I can't go though the prequel kind of ending again

This show is really done to satisfy the audience after running over their hearts with a truck in one and only. I mean if you don't watch one and only, this will just look like two people who jumped into marriage without thinking through

Overall I like this series and is actually one of my favourite show. Just the last two episodes with the dragon was really badly done and kind of felt like they ran out of budget. I mean can't they have a more compelling villain rather than a badly rendered/unfinished dragon.

The second half of the show particularly from episode 9 onwards is way better than the first half and is the reason why i put this as one of my fav Kdrama. First half of show, I dropped quite a few times before that one time by some miracle I sat through the whole thing and the only reason I remembered I manage to watch through the first half was sunny and the grim reaper
