okay to be fair without mentioning the toxic and unnecessary parts, i quite enjoyed it. actors and actresses made me like it a lot. JaFirst's acting as a couple is great and doesn't seem awkward even in the love scenes. ((the script made it awkward sometimes tho)). i honestly find their tiny pecks and hugs cute in the series hehe :D. AND i got captivated by Ja so much.
as for the side cp, ik it's just a strategy to force another series. but still sucks xD

try "a tale of thousand stars"!! osts, story, casts, cinematography are also great in a different way compared with ITSAY, but i can guarantee you won't regret it!!

ik lgbtq+ is still taboo in many asian countries , but i just hope public figures-- especially those who played as a queer character --would at least standup for the community even if they're not part of it and not treating these shows as a stepping stone for fame and quick money :/ it is not the first time too, sighs

i agree with you that they could've chosen another worthy auditionees but there is no need to be rude saying they are lousy T__T it is indeed bad, they just got lucky enough to be chosen as main leads so good for them. maybe they'll improve in the future. what i don't understand is didn't they get trained to act like with an acting coach or workshop first before the actual shooting started? bc i rlly can't see their chemistry and it's sooooo awkward (at least to me)

i know that they had think about their mistakes through and they've grown up. but srsly, OH AEW IS TOO WEAK FOR TEH! BABY YOU SHOULD'VE LET A CHEATER SUFFER A BIT MOREEEE. i literally cried everytime ohaew cries. i mean the fact that Oh rlly accept Teh back that easily just didn't feel right to me. i'd love to see Teh fight harder to get Ohaew's heart back.
but besides that, everything else is well done. the story progressed well and it didn't give too many holes although it uses a lot of time skips. each character has their own depth and noone lacks characteristic. acting? boi you don't even need to ask, everyone did an extraordinary job playing as their own character. cinematography is well done too. if ITSAY kinda gave a warm vibes, IPTYM gave rather cooler vibes on the color grading. I think it suits the story setting, where ITSAY took place in an island / beach and IPTYM took place in the city. music isn't as unique as the first season but all of it are still good, i listen to Safe Zone a lot :D
p.s. to people watching this, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT EVER NORMALIZE CHEATING. i got cheated on too, i was weak so i forgave my ex just to be cheated on again. freaking hurts like hell.
