Do we see any character development in Ming Lan? I'm on episode 7 rn.
We do see quite a bit of character development in both MC. Some might find it boring at the start because of lack of understanding of the culture and hierarchy or slow pacing but don't let it get to you as your wait will be worthwhile as the show goes on. Good luck.
