despite it making sense about why they have so many wives so that they can have many children to carry on the family bloodline I still think it's very disgusting and is very toxic and is nothing but a disaster in the making.. what happens is brings out the evil in people and creates monsters who sell their souls to the devil just to fight for favor in a wretched family.. these women all will fight each other to the death just so that they can have a higher status then the other side hoes..
they all are like rabid dogs circling the same bone.. and they even force their poor children to do the same damn thing all for potential alliances with influential families and simply for their own shallow needs and for greed.. I have seen a lot of innocent families annihilated in these dramas but when you have families like these who should have a substantial amount wiped out they are spared now you tell me where in the hell is the justice in that?

as we all know even when they finally get caught and the concrete evidence proves their guilt the evil people will not repent at all.. they will think that their actions were justified and they will use the same old tired A** cliche that they were wronged and never treated fairly by others so they had to take matters into their own hands to be finally taken seriously and to show that people should have never underestimated them and that what happened is result of their own arrogance and for looking down on people who they deemed to be unworthy.. they are the ones who created the monsters so they should hold themselves responsible for the havoc that their evil creations created..

is the man who Luo Shen Yuan went to see and gave that letter really going to be Luo Yi Ning's father? is he some sort of general or member of royalty?

mei mei is the female he is so obsessed with finding.. he cannot stop thinking about her.. she is his one true love or great love.. she was Luo Yi Ning's maid but she died by being pushed off the cliff by some lady named Song Ziyun.. even after finding her grave and having it dug up he still won't believe that she is dead so he goes to harass Luo Yi Ning again..

just how far does everyone think the Marquis and Wang Yuan will go to stop the truth of their evil deeds from coming out? just how much despicable sh*t have they done in pursuit of their goals?
in all these dramas these people with their greed and thirst for power really have no moral compass and their evil knows no boundaries.. even with Luo Yi Ning telling that marquis that mei mei is dead he still is being obsessed and toxic towards Luo Yi Ning.. that wretched man is like a vampire with a bloodlust that can never be quenched..

with so many episodes left I am truly afraid for Luo Shen Yuan and Luo Yi Ning and also afraid of what can happen to them.. with the secret of her birth hanging over his head like a thundercloud and with that unpredictable Marquis who is like a powder keg waiting to explode who knows just what hellfire and brimstone is going to rain down on the both of them.. right now her only protection from that crazed lunatic is being the legitimate daughter of the Luo family without that status she is a sitting duck.. that secret is way too big for him to keep secret until the end of the series someone will find it out and that someone will be the wrong person or people and they will use it to their advantage to have both him and her exiled from the family because of the unwanted scandal then they both are sitting ducks.. the Marquis has been itching to do bodily harm to Luo Shen Yuan and to have Luo Yi Ning all to himself because of his toxic obsession with her.. that Cheng Lang is just as horrendous as the Marquis so you know he will help that wretched Marquis in his evil plot against her and him because of his strong backing of him and because correct me if I am wrong but aren't the Marquis and Cheng Lang related?
as for them becoming a couple that would be just way too strange and way too hard to stomach
all this time they were thought to be related and now because they are not you want to have them be romantically involved sorry but that has to be a hard no she doesn't see more than a big brother and with him just learning that they are not related.. what will they play the whole scenario of him looking at her in a different light since they are no longer siblings and have him start to develop feelings for her out of the blue all of a sudden? I know these dramas do some heinous sh*t like physical abuse and r*pe but to have him be like the Marquis and damage their wonderful relationship because of that type of thing would be simply unbearable to watch and truly unforgivable on his part.. Luo Yi NIng would never look at him the same nor respect him or trust him ever again.. not saying he would do those heinous things but with the way some dramas play out you never can tell what will happen though I hope like hell that it doesn't happen whatsoever..

I can understand why he is safeguarding the secret that she is not the daughter of that wretched man if that secret were to be known it would spell disaster for her without that family's protection or her status as being a family member she would be at the mercy of everyone who feels that she has wronged them and she would be considered an outcast who would be shunned by the whole community.. I know it has to be eating him alive having to hide that from her since he knows she trusts him with her whole heart and with her life and with every fiber of her being.. if that secret were to be known by the wrong people especially that wretched Marquis or that wretched father or any of the Luo family who knows what would happen to poor Yi NIng
that marquis is purely evil so he is capable of anything and since he has such an unhealthy obsession with Yi NIng he would use the info of Luo Shen Yuan knowing such a huge secret to his advantage just to get him out of the way of him going after Yi Ning
also that Cheng Lang is just as cunning and evil as the Marquis and with him backing Cheng Lang the situation is not good at all..
this is all one big clusterf*ck and when it's all said and done who knows just how much collateral damage will be done because of what evil schemes the bad people set in motion..
I know that Yi Ning would want to hear the truth from him because it would mean a lot and would show that her trust in him is not misplaced but in the insane world of dramas that is not how it will happen either she will overhear him talking about it to someone because he will spill the beans at the worst possible moment or her enemies will find out about that huge bombshell and reveal it to the whole family or that evil Marquis will discover the truth and use it to his advantage to force her to be with him when he discovers she is the long lost lady he is looking for and she rejects his evil scary A**!!

to me that is such a F*CKING joke.. he has a child with his side hoe gives the child of said side hoe a status when he is simply evidence of his father being a male gigolo and because he gets drunk and has S*x with the hired help then when he sobers up he is so mortified so he denies his one son's existence because of the status of the mother but because of the love he has for the side hoe who is just as beneath like the maid in my honest opinion but because he is acknowledged on paper and so well loved by his despicable father that means the sun rises and sets out of his A** and the more worthy son has to be treated like he's a mere dog in his own family..
truly disgraceful and the whole family so be ashamed of themselves and their amoral behavior.. they truly are reprehensible and truly disgust me!!

in all these types of dramas to me a concubine is just a fancy way of saying the female is the side hoe or mistress if me saying side hoe is seen to be offensive..
yes in most cases these men are forced into having more than one women as a wife because of family pressure or threats against their family if they don't marry a certain female
why in the world is it a custom to have more than one wife? isn't one women enough? she is certainly capable of having many children to carry on the family bloodline

so many of these historical dramas are like a mixture of American soap operas, Latin telenovas and Thai lakorns.. heartwarming moments evil diabolical schemes senseless violence against innocent people and great love stories but also tragic love stories.. no matter what the plot involves some of them are a great viewing experience while others make you want to gouge your eyes out or make you sick to your stomach..
but hey that is just my humble opinion!!

yes falling in love for the first time is scary as hell and falling in love with your stepbrother is even more scary and it's a lot to process.. my only issue is that for both Sheng Wang and Jiang Tian before they came into each other lives they both were adrift in the dark murky waters with no lighthouse to guide them safely to shore but after they met each other and they both got to know one another and Sheng was able to break down Jiang's walls they both became each other's lighthouse but now Sheng pushed them both back into those dark murky waters without that safety of the lighthouse that helped guide them safely to shore.. it breaks my heart that Sheng thought that this was the best course of action..they say distance makes the heart grow fonder but it hurts like a B*tch and is a big one!!

hopefully her dying is just a ruse to make that wretched woman think that she has the upper hand and let her guard down so that she can show her true colors to the world and also to draw out whoever helped her with her evil schemes.. I may be heartless but her dying does serve her right
the roles are now reversed now she is being framed and slandered and so now he is eating the half baked BS that wretched woman is serving him .. how does everyone feel that the last 4 episodes will play out?
