That's what the contract is for, he takes care of the baby while she works out, literally doesn't eat doesn't get any sleep because she has to earn to support herself and the baby. It was dumb to leave the phone in the car but she literally was working her ass off that time with international clients.

The SML kept keeping her busy with the excuse of work (which the writers never tell us clearly about - was there really a need to keep her with him all the time for work or was he just making it all up- again, terrible writing).
A lot of things the haters say about the FML are just made up lies and not what the show has shown us. In f act, the show has not shown us her intentions or interests AT ALL - poor asf writing.

I like the SML more anyway so I would like that too. The script is terrible but how is she irresponsible? She has been working her ass off to raise the kid and now doing it all alone cuz the ML can just decide to come and go on his whim. Not enough people hating him for being irresponsible and not caring about the baby in the first place and it was the FL all alone. In real life this is what fathers do, they work outside and are rarely present for their kids. Noone has a problem when it's a male not being present at home. This whole show is terrible tbh but everyone is focused on merely hating on the FL as if the ML is a saint and hasn't been acting rude to her all the time

I have watched, and I don't understand what she has done to deserve so much hate. I don't recall her ever being rude to the ML; she is kind and understanding. If anything, the ML has been rude to her many times just because he overhears half-conversations or becomes jealous. Knocking over food, saying harmful things, targeting her employment status when she has been doing whatever she can to raise a child alone (because he is only there for a month). While she has tried to soothe him with the whole thing with his dad, he refuses to even address her as family
