I can see why some people would find it sad. They lost the chance to spend some of the best years of their lives together, and Maki chose to change on her own instead of staying by Ryuku's side. But I'm trying to look at it from a more positive perspective.

Ruiku had such a profound impact on Maki that he chose to leave his old self behind and reinvent himself, all because he wanted to become someone worthy of the man he loved.
As for whether they end up together, I genuinely believe they do. When Ruiku came home after finding out he'd been accepted into a university in Australia and found Maki's letter, the look on his face wasn't one of complete hopelessness. If anything, there was a hint of anticipation, like he was waiting for something.
I just can't imagine him letting go of the person who gave him the very first experiences of the love and warmth he'd been deprived of since childhood.

The nc scenes were so aesthetically pleasing. And the song they used in the very first scene was so good. I loved that they brought it back during the kissing scene too 😋 I would've given it a higher rating if they hadn't overdone the office drama. Still enjoyed it though 7.5/10.

3/10 for the effort they put into making it.

It was incredibly frustrating. This was never the kind of story that needed to be stretched out for this long.

After watching the Season 1 finale, I honestly thought Season 2 would be more enjoyable, but I was completely wrong. For almost all 12 episodes, Minato acted like an asexual person forcing himself to be in a relationship with someone. Whether that was the writers' intention or not, that's exactly how it came across to me.

I honestly couldn't stand Minato most of the time. He was so frustrating to watch. Seeing him reject Shintaro every other minute was exhausting, and after a while, it just became embarrassing. Instead of creating romantic tension, it made their relationship feel repetitive and emotionally draining.

Shintaro was easily the best part of the show. I honestly don't know how I would've gotten through it without him.

i respect different opinions but those who don't like the acting in this series are really unfair. they acted in the most natural way possible

I hated Kirino's mother so much that I'm dying of nerves. I get doubly annoyed when I see teenagers romanticizing Yanagida. And the series was really good for those who understood it, even though it was depressing

Abe's acting>>>>>>>>>>>
It is really great, i hate it when i watch an actor's series and then watch another one and see the same character he played in the first on. He does his job well.
