Adding phony buzzwords doesn't turn a mediocre product into some quality work. Well, that's what is the go to…
That was pretty bombastic ! Some people need to calm their tits. Most of us here are liberated to comprehend “agree to disagree” , but please don’t undermine our intelligence and intrude with “self-absorbed” wisdom here.
I guess I must be living on Mars ! I beg to differ with “a-particular “ comment below … “ The show follows typical romance kdrama routine of relationships solves everything.”.
On the contrary “The Liberation Note” is your atypical romance K-drama. It is a perfect piece of work in K—drama that depicts reality in every sense of the word which is a rarity.
This drama is like a fine wine it gets better every single episode … every frame and scene is executed with precision. ! Great director, screenwriter and casts ! I could go on writing about episode 10 into a mini story itself … witty dialog, dry humor, effortless acting bringing each character to life …
I laugh so hard with Chang Hee’s antics … what man would find it so endearing lying next to another man seeing stars … hoping lil sister would throw herself at a guy … worshiping a guy as saint lol
awwwww and Gu’s gaze at Mi Jung during dinner says a thousand words. The brilliant part about this drama is it evokes so much emotion without even a peck. GU owns it ! his signature gaze !
WOW I am blown away by episode 10 ! I keep hitting the rating button for 11. Way to go Mi Jung!!! She hit it home at Gu. I worship you Mi Jung ! And something about charismatic Gu … his enigmatic smile and expression … he sets the bar high for K- ML
I want to move the JEJU ! The soundtrack and cinematography is absolutely gorgeous … it’s so surreal one can feels the tranquility and serenity . It gives the vibes of Amalfi Coast drive to Isle of Capri in Italy. Thrown in a Kim Won Bin guy … (screaming out loud) lol JEJU I am all yours !
yeah I certainly didnt like her young self, why would a 14 year old kid do that is beyond me really.. what? ruin…
I can emphasize with both growing up in troubled and broken homes. I cant’t comprehend the choice SA made by “ruining herself “ (akin to losing virginity) to get her dad’s attention whereas DS chose to be beaten the life out to get his family to care. Definitely she’s not quite all up there before and now, and delusional to think she will get her son to back and live with her in dilapidated place. I can’t picture DS playing husband to SA and father to her son.
TLN tells it so well … everyone has their own internal struggles and demons. 3 siblings with each uniqueness is like therapeutic for Gu … just what he needed. lol MJ talks about dead frogs bits like confetti even Gu cringes at the thought MJ can still be eating. KJ feeling grateful for being rejected (a new trait I just leaned) CY literally talks shit lol like best thing that ever happen
WOW episode 9 blows your mind off … GU rocks ! Great actors ! Brilliant dialogs … each dialog move the story forward revealing back story line beautifully. Gu and the the siblings Chang Yee & Mi Jung … their fate seem to be intertwined from the start.
Love the soundtrack … todays episode 9 soundtrack sets the tone for each scene beautifully. The fathers, Ho Shik and In Kwon scene was truly heart rending … fathers unconditional love triumph over pride. “Our Blues” definitely rank as one my favorite classic of all times, together with “My Liberation Notes”and “Pachinko”. Great casts, screenwriter & director, and cinematography & musical scores, last but not least … new beauty standards have been set in these three dramas.
E12 and E13 are so humorous. Love Lin Geng Xin and Tan Song Yun.! Such an adorable pair. This drama gives A Business Proposal and What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim vibes
