Wu Ji Yan nailed it big time as an actor in Yanxi Palace. In Hao Lan she was at best mediocre. In Royal Feast, it feels like she’s replicating YP, facial expression, attitude, demeanor, aura … seems like she couldn’t get out of her own YP shadow.
With all the doom and gloom pandemic waves,, markets melt down and Russia / Ukraine crisis, “A Business Proposal” is my “HaPpY Antidote Pill”! Kim Se Jeong reminds me of my first Kdrama during lock down “It’s Okay, that’s Okay “ Gong Hyo Jin . Both are spontaneous, with expressive eyes and infectious laugh. Ahn Hyo Seop gives Park Seo Joon vibes.
It was a describable ride throughout 34 episodes …… for me it was flawless but it’s not without minute flaws lol QY taking the hit and leaving again (the MO is getting old and recycled a tad over) at such crucial precious time could have been substituted with a endearment scene that will be etched on our minds and we can all go and have a sweet dream and goodnight sleep.
Second ML Liu Riu Lin / QX stepped up from E27. He even broke out from his own role , E27 you see a different side going forward. It’s absolutely refreshing.
The whole journey of the drama was flawless until the parting scenes … I am not sure what to put it at … voluntary or acceptance from both parties. Can’t help feeling screenwriter killed the momentum. There are still plenty of plots, twist and turns ideas. Both already knew in their hearts of hearts they love each other. To use FL independent , dream of traveling and writing after coming such as long way together finally getting together is a tad lame.
WTF? Pan Sa Hyun's hella ugly now. They could've replaced him with someone as good looking as Sung Hoon. I wouldn't…
@taeguk Spot on ! Love your descriptions of the three casts, I almost roll of bed LOL
I can’t quite put a word to it if I was pleasantly surprise to see S3 is out … probably more like shock and awe love hate relationship surprise LOL jumping out of my bed I was excited thinking are they going to pull the rabbit off the hat this time round in S3. I was completely lost in E1 when I saw the replacement casts and thinking aloud … am I missing something out here , I couldn’t quite connect S3 from the “infamous S2” meaningless ending.
Is it just me feeling somehow the aesthetic enjoyment of the show with the original two ML Sa Hyun & Yoo Shin and stepmom Ye Hung decrease with the new replacement casts. One can’t help getting the vibes of a bad remake instead of a continuation new season.
Thank you … the historical part of the drama is the same era as Ming Dynasty with Tang Wei and Zhu Ya Wen. You might like to check out Zhu Zhang Ji character in Ming dynasty.

Screenwriter definitely hit g spot home run. .. either reliving her life experiences or indulging her fantasies on screen.
