good looking CP ๐ good chemistry, good acting/natural, pacing ok, no stupid draggy misunderstanding, FL not the usual bird brain character ๐ which made this easy to watch
Saw ML in Goodbye My Princess and been in โค๏ธ โค๏ธ โค๏ธ with him ever since. His acting is getting stronger! Don't you just love how he waves his hand around in Jack Sparrow style๐ He looks so glamorous in all his uniforms in this drama. And not to forget how devilish rogue'ly handsome he looks in that awesome black leather trench too โค๏ธ Evan Lin looks good as always โค๏ธ His eyes and dimples are so gorgeous (although I love his character in Crush more)
To me : this drama is the super upgraded GOBLIN ๐คฃ not complaining though So far after 10 episodes in : Awesome! Not a single boring moment! Every interactions among the roles are all so electrifying. This drama actually makes the supporting roles shine and add more meaning to it! The witty quick banters are so wonderful to watch! All actors/actresses are on point on delivery! Gorgeous eye candy male casts (thank you ๐) almost every scene has handsome male in it ... ha! The bromance and sismance is ๐๐ฝ The main lead CP chemistry is smoldering ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ here's hoping to lotsa kisses scenes coming our way ... amen ... ๐๐ The pain, longing, uncertainties and blossoming affection as it grows from CP interactions send my heart thumping to many directions ๐ FL is pretty in her own ways, very pleasing to the eye. Smart and kinda bad ass in her own way .... the way she outwit/outsmart ML and tease him to piss him off is so refreshing ๐
I loooovvveee Riley's dimples and tender gaze ๐ In this drama, ML is a very well established and famous violinist with strong family background (loving his parents!) He is 5 years older than FL in this drama, had always been independent and self-made his own career which makes him much more mature in this relationship & able to encourage/admire/respect her pure strong passion in pursuing her dream. He really absolutely adores her thus he tolerates and compromises a lot for her and able to embrace her shortcomings (silliness, pride, insecurities) Super appreciate his patience, support and understanding towards FL and her career. FL has her dumb moments, although not that many, that's why she is not as irritable as other FL in most c-dramas ๐ "Love Conquers All" - when the love is strong and both share same values & determination
Just finished this drama and this is the first c-drama that I wished have more episodes. At least 40 episodes length will be good with romance development in it because the couples in this drama is awesomely paired. Wang Kai looks sooooo good. Just finished this drama. Kudos to the action scenes. Johnny Huang is super believable portraying his role as military officer. His fighting stance and gait is so on point perhaps because of his BJJ background. Romance is slow burn but realistic. OTP takes a while to really get together because they are both responsible adults with ideals/values who knows what their jobs are like and what each jobs meant for each other.
Other supporting actors are great as well. Li Lie and Luo Liang despite not having many scenes, they capture my attention
Just added Bai Jing Ting to my fave c-drama actor list. Love his character in this drama. Broad shoulder, narrow waist, bulging veins from his bicep, those 6 packs ๐ but out of his uniform, he is just a lovable dork ๐
The romance is absolutely adorable. ML and FL interaction is very cute and sweet, they look so natural and comfortable with each other. The way they cherish and appreciate each other makes my heart warm and fuzzy. Like how they resolve misunderstandings with honesty and they do not have trust issues. Ep 21 : saw somewhere that this is ML's first on-screen kiss and he does it so wonderfully , his ears even turn red (awww) which makes me love this couple even more.
Starting to love Shu Wen Bo character too, his jawline and side profile looks so manly although his character in this drama really is a block of wood ( except for his photo taking skills ๐ ) ... good thing is his mom in this drama actively play Cupid for him and really like xiao Xia for being bold & passionate
The sismance, bromance and camaraderie is strong โค๏ธโ๐ฅ
