Actually almost all Chinese dramas that I watch are the same. it took 15 episodes of to look interesting.
the production team is used to 60-70 episodes. I think they're having a hard time adjusting the portion of the scene to 40 episodes

I'm guessing the production team isn't used to 40 episodes. don't they always make xianxia dramas with 50-70 episodes? looks like they have a hard time adjusting the portion of the scene
. especially with add of additional characters that are not in the novel

Episode 27. I purposely skipped the side story and only watched when Cy and Yunhe appeared and they appear only 10 minutes out of 45 minutes episode.

they should have followed the book more with focus on the main character relationships. Isn't this the charm of the story blue wishper? zrb added too many side stories

and the side story scene should be reduced because it wastes time for the main character. it's okay to add some a side story but we are basically watching for yunhe and cy
there are indeed a lot of cp here do they all have to be told? while the plot of the main character becomes slow in every episode because there are taken by side story

they have to separate once again to get a Cheerful jyh
And when they meet again is the sweetest thing i've ever read in the novel 🤗
of course followed by the next tragedy Lol their life is hard XD

if yunhe wasn't dying seeing her rebellious nature cy and yunhe's relationship will never get better

because qing yao is not in the novel so part of the story is only based on drama. but it seems like a fatal step for peace 🤔

even shunde became evil because of grand master's crazy love and she even more evil because her love was not reciprocated by grand master.
don't blame shunde. She's the real victim here 😅
