I was so afraid that someone will ask that question.
So here is my theory.
DFQC said to XF to take an eye for her. I am sure DFQC wanted to put off orchid bone bracelet and with Chidi Woman's primodal spirit free those soliders. I am sure that XF didn't listen to his brother and just get orchid to battelfield and gave her this sword. So when DFQC found about it he was sure it was connected to bone orchid.
Later when DFQC just felt via course that Orchid is in pain he rushed to save her. He stopped what he was doing ( breaking seal of 100 000 troops), so He never wanted to Orchid get killed.

I agree, He was screaming!!! And we just hear some music :(

And He was so polite towroads Siming. He was speaking with respect and He used "please" word. He is so despereted to resurrect Orchid that he doesn't care about his dignity anymore. I am impressed :)
