I got so impatient I started reading the novel, and now that I'm nearly done I can say I'm so glad I did. It's so masterfully written that I am in complete awe! My love for the characters has also reached exploding levels and I have cried from sudden bursts of emotion a few times just from thinking about this story. I never would have known all the nuances behind the characters if I had not read the novel beforehand and therefore when the drama finally releases may not have been able to experience and appreciate it in its full glory. In fact, reading the source material has majorly increased my excitement and respect for the upcoming drama. If you have not yet, I highly recommend reading the novel before the drama airs. You won't regret it :)
This is great news and all, but like many others have expressed, I am very unhappy about the content cut. No one wants a butchered story full of plot holes :/ I just hope I'm worrying for nothing.
