That's fair, I do think they could've expanded more on Neils character, because his actions are easy to read in a "friendly" context. I actually went back and rewatched all the episodes after episode 7, and THAT'S when I really started understanding Neil's character.
Neil's attraction to Sea has been subtle but there since episode 2: Not eveything has to be in your face for it to be valid, sometimes you have to pay attention to the subtle cues. The actors, in my opinion, have been doing a good job of expressing how they feel without actually saying it.

If I'm correct, it's the same system used in the states. I assumed he was around 20 since he said he was a college sophomore. I'm also a college sophomore and I'm 20 haha, so I just assumed as much.

Huh that's odd... I personally think the characters have a lot of chemistry. But I can see where your coming from. For Sea I think his feeling are pretty obvious, and I'd argue that the actor does a good job at portraying this sort of young, nervous, crush type energy.
Stating your opinion isn't rude, but calling something a pos is definitely kind of harsh... so I can see where they are coming from. Your allowed to your own opinion, but using harsh language typically elicits a response from fans.

I think it's great. I also don't understand the mixed reviews..? The lead actors are great, and the story is interesting. A good break from the highschool romance troupe we get alot in bls. I've seen a lot of people complaining about the lack of intimacy between the leads which... I dont understand. They literally just met? Like give them a minute? They have good chemistry together so I'm not that worried about it.
