The original is a melodrama but this one is heavily on thriller side. It wasn't even promoted as romance. I didn't watch the original version though just only looking in a comment section.

I think I can give you some recommends if you want to. Which genres do you like?

Infidelity can be seen in historical/period/republican and it's not a wrong thing back then. So better avoiding them.

If you want a good lakorns, watch GMM and CH3. CH7 is focusing on more of an older generation. CH3 and GMM are also easier to find a legal subtitles.
