Y'all does anybody have historical c-drama recs where second lead cp is equally as good as main cp just like starry love?

A night passed after l&p has ended. Now i am curing my post drama depression by listening to the ost. We only see cp's like this who are soulmates with no place for a third person in books. They never needed any verbal affirmations. Their eyes spoke a 1000 words. Their understanding, their unwavering trust in each other, also utmost respect for one another combined with their sizzling chemistry and tension..... There's not gonna be another modern c-drama like this for me. I am not gonna be coming out of this haze anytime soon!

One thing is for sure, zhu yun will always be the ultimate boss lady. The way she herself posted the video and her walking away with the theme song as the background. THAT WAS POWER MOVE!! Other dramas would have created a sub plot around it. Zhu Yun is one of the best FL's out there. Like there's no one like her. I think the saying "Behind every successful man is a woman" is so apt for her.

Cant believe gao became the ultimate villain and FZJ just the sidekick. There's not even a bit of remorse in him that he got li xun's sister killed. Forget about college rivalry and all that shit. Its basic humanity. We can atleast see FZJ getting scared seeing li xun. Gao's really has a special place in hell.

Guys, i just skimmed through these two episode. I cant take this. I cant watch the heartbreaking scenes. Why does all bad things have to happen to him. WHY. I am not okay..

I agree with you. I wish we had a few scenes post kiss. But i also understand that time jump was necessary for the plot to move forward. So cant really blame them

Also how the hell did zhu yun's mom agree to their relationship. Considering her character, i dont think it went well. But if her parents dont know about their relationship, how did she manage to hide it for THREE years?

I am literally on cloud nine after watch these two episodes. They are so sweet they almost gave me a diabetes. But the preview.... I AM SCARED. I just want to be in this bubble of cute moments. I am not ready for the impending doom that's gonna be the new few episodes. Also those lines zhu yun said at last, how if they did not spend their youth arrogantly and waywardly, would it have been any different in the future. If the drama did not start in present time with the whole prison thing, i would be scared out of my fits after hearing those lines. That foreshadowing was OMINOUS
