Somethin for you to open up your mind.. i am also allen ren fans, so i love his chemistry with yang zhi in the destiny of white snake .. and im also yang zhi fans.. but.. after watching one and only .. i think his chemistry was more good with bai lu.. so.. did i now became yang zhi haters? Or did i not support allen ren drama? Ive watch 3 of allen drama.. and between bai lu, yang zhi, and fairy xing.. i think allen ren hve more chemistry with bai lu and im.not even fans of bai lu...but i love her acting there... so suppprting one actor doesnt mean you hv tu support all their cp.. and not fond of their cp doesn mean you hate the drama or the main lead.. Its okay thats your opinion.. but for me i cant feel their chemistry.. because im not realy easy to feel the chemistry bewtwen the lead.. because for me its not somethin that need acting skill its come naturally... when the main leads is compatible and comfortable with each other... lack if chenistry doesnt mean their acting bad.. but its just matter of their genuine compatible...

The truth is there is a lot people whose not even watching LAR and watch stand by me said the drama was good.. but the chemistry between the lead is lack.. but they hve good acting... and they more like yanzhi character since its strong

The fact is this drama got low rating beacuse of its genre.. the historical palace drama is hard to get high rating.m because the plot is brain wrecking and serious... compare to xian xia, modern or wuxia... so LAR is xian xia thats why its got its hight rating and deserve it because its a masterpice and hv bonus with the explosive chemistry between the FL AND ML...
