This is my take, zanghai actually not that easy to manipulate, he does dont hv control at some thing, but if you focused on the way zang hai react, i think he sceheming evryone include mask man, he actually took his master Advice not to trust anyone easily, include his 2nd master, coz some time, the way he act in front of his master like testing the water .
