This started out promising but quickly became kind of pathetic with so many plot holes. How can a school get away…
I think I watched the same show you did ... so I am a little confused. lol Which plot holes did you notice? I think I might have skipped them. Or missed that? As I thought it was all pretty much cleared up by the very end. It's also been noted that, unfortunately, suicide rates are pretty high in countries where there is a strict adherence to high grades/success. Especially with wealthier families. I don't think anyone would be 'okay' with their child committing suicide- but the stigma would be that 'my kid chose suicide over failure and dishonoring the family'. A trope with rates to back it up. In a country where 29 people for every 100,000 committing suicide, and the fact it's considered taboo to do, it happens. Most times when a suicide is determined the family will sweep it under the rug in denial rather than talk about it. Thankfully, shows, even the cheesy ones, make it a topic so it is being discussed a little more. In the case of this series, the school was considered the low of the low with test scores, parents of wealthy families who's children studied harder and passed caused other wealthy families to bring their kids in...which gave the school a very high rating for education. When kids started failing, the school lost families- rather than let that happen the principal made a bargain with the demon/evil spirit to eliminate the kid with the lowest score. Since it was considered suicide? There was no internal investigations, no questions, wealthy families stayed because the scared kids studied harder. As for Doo Shim and her 'powers' ... well she inherited them and unfortunately they didn't come with instructions. And since the one who could have taught her was murdered she'd grown up being' the girl who sees ghosts &can tell the future' which isn't something I think any kid 'wants' to do. Because she'd had to transfer often and tried to hide who she was she didn't make a point to make any friends. So she was always alone, mopey and just sliding by so she could graduate and move out of Moms home. THEN she meets Na Woo Soo who, in small ways, shows her that having a friend-even one that others considered beneath him was not such a bad thing. Hence his determination to help his 'only' friend Il Nam pass his tests and not die. Basically the show is about her accepting her 'fate' or 'gift' and accepting that friends are not so bad to have, rather than just a knock out drag out battle royale with a demon. (And yeah, reallllly bahd CGI-but it is what it is :P ) They go up against one-who seems to be a bad ass since Grandmother couldn't take it on with ALL of her experience and talent. SO when Grandmother said Doo Shim could do it with help? That help is Na Woo Soo. In the end, the bad guy and the demon are taken care of, by the newly formed group of 'friends'. The murdered kids are taken to the where-ever by Grandmother, Hyun Soo is off to find his Mom and Il Nam is gonna be just fine.... Doo Shim and Na Woo Soo are walking together at the very end of the last episode, discussing potential futures ... which look like a segue for Season 2. I found it more of a light-supernatural show, rather than horror. It was cute, and an easy 4 hour watch.
When you see the first episode, you may not be immediately attracted to this drama, especially after seeing the…
Thank you for this. I am/was seriously considering dropping this one. I'm older and have seen a lot of stuff that is not in the stellar department (read this as I was around when 'Howard the Duck' first aired *severe eyeroll & shudders*) so I know how to get through a drama without being too harsh or hateful. LOL So, it was really *sighs* REALLY hard to get through Eps 1 & 2 only because of the over played childish, cringey, attitude of my D.D. I'm on Ep 3 now and will push through, giving this one more of chance. LOL ***UPDATE*** You were SO right! Once through episode 2 and into 3? It gets a helluva LOT better! Now I can despise the characters I'm actually suppose to!
When searching online to find it to watch I found this under one of the other names : The Answer to Love just sharing in case others can't find it under the original name. :)
Who cares all of us make mistakes it's his own life ..... he is so talented and so real when he acts do you watch…
People often do crap we don't agree with. If he cheated, he cheated and that does suck but it does not make him a bad actor. It would make him a bad relationship therapist.
Ep 34 and FL is behaving better... but I got my side-eye on her.
okay.. FL redeemed herself in the last 4 eps.... but LAWD I hated her with a raging passion for most of it. Other than that? The series was way better than I expected it to be. I laughed and I cried throughout. And in the end I am glad I stuck to it and watched it.
Im on ep 15 and all I can say is that the fl BEST get better because from the first intro till now? I've prayed for a bullet between her eyes. Her character is nothing more than a self-centered, rude crude spoiled twunt. I do NOT blame the actress Lmfao... I blame the writer! grrrrr..... just so happens that the actress portrays vile twunt very well :P
not only stereotyping but the main lead him being a dentist and giving hypertension medication to the grandma…
True! He is a dentist from the start. Later when the little boy fell on a nail his dad was freaking out on how a dentist could 'fix' his son - which WE know is totally understandable.. LOL and that's where it shows how supposedly he was a genius doctor and his so called prior specialties. Not quite sure 'why' the writer wanted to go the whole convoluted explanation route tho as they made it more confusing than it needed to be. LOL And hi5 to your being a surgical nurse! You are some tough stuff I swear! Every nurse I've met(from different phases and stages, from surgery to after care) has had a heart of gold even when they had to put on a stern face and demeanor just to get through the day. Thank you for the job you do! <3

Some of the most common oral and maxillofacial surgeries include the following. Wisdom Teeth Management and Extraction. ... Facial Injury and Trauma Surgery. ... Oral, Head, and Neck Cancer Treatment. ... Corrective Jaw Surgery. ... Cleft Lip and Palate Surgery. ... TMJ Disorder and Facial Pain Treatment. Therefore they are knowledgeable in cleft palate deformities as well as surgeries or stitching of soft tissues inside and outside the mouth. As in the nail injury. As for the bit I stated above I went by the script/dialogue of the episode and did not pull it out of my backside... And I do have a bit of understanding as the complete craniofacial surgery my son had at 6 months was performed by not only a plastic surgeon, but a neurosurgeon AND a surgeon specializing in maxillofacial surgery (his business plaque read dental surgeon) But thank you for your concern and corrections....

As far as the surgeries go? This ML can do the surgeries mentioned as he studied oral and maxillofacial surgery BEFORE switching to orthodontic dentistry. In the very beginning it stated that he was a genius doctor... and then in episode 4 at the 27.43 spot it explained his specialties. It moves really fast is easy to miss but the info is there. SO that part can get a minor 'slide'. Lol
Definitely NEEDS a season 2! This just can't be the end of some really great characters and storyline. There is so much they could with a second season. As this one, though packed with different mini plots converging into the main plot...it was mainly an introduction to the FL and ML coming together as a team. LOVED this series!
Wonder if the subtitles have been fixed because it's all so messed up and I couldn't continue even though the…
I think I will have to go with "No. No they have NOT" for the win- being that I am only on episode 2 aaaaaaaaand not only are the Emperor and the Princess called 'emperor' so you gotta figure out which one they're talking about but then refers to another as King... but I'm preeeetttyyy certain that Google is NOT their friend after this dialogue: "Since King Shun likes blowjob so much, My Xue mansion is big you can blow what ever you want." LITERALLY at the 4:34 mark of the second episode? I am laughing my HEAD off over this!
:O How could you stop at 22? That's like going through ALL the effort of ordering a cake, watching it being made,…
They super stay together! This one is ALL about their romance and getting together and being together and it all seems so natural. There's relationship is shown in an adult way without the clutter, drama and whininess of other shows. She's not a whimpery little doormouse brat and he's not a royal jerk. Lol
Is it worth to continue? I stopped at ep 22 after they are together.
:O How could you stop at 22? That's like going through ALL the effort of ordering a cake, watching it being made, then frosted and looking over to others and going, "Meh I'm not gonna have any. You can have it." Lololol
This was good. Like really good. First off this is NOT just a romance. It's mystery, crime, drama, family relationships, bromance, and romance and comedy. There IS romance but it's not the main theme. I actually watched this twice back to back as I had one unanswered question and it's the only unanswered question in the whole series. But it's not a main question just more of an aggravating curiousness. The storyline was really cool. I liked it. A bit of fantasy because of the dreams, without all of the fairy lights and cgi theatrics so it doesn't come across as cheesy. I laughed, I jumped, I cried and laughed some more and there were a bunch of 'awwwwww' moments in there too. Yes, there are flashbacks but every single one is necessary. Each time something new is revealed and helps tie a lot together as well as answer a bunch of questions you might have. Don't skip through them! You'll MISS something! And quite a few are very heartwarming. They are also shown from the different perspectives of the Main cast...so something one may have not noticed? Another did and it's locked in their memory. DO NOT worry tho- they don't hinder the flow of the story or the flow of the characters either. The cast was awesome! I fell in love with most of the cast -everyone the writers wanted me to and hated all the ones the writers also wanted me to. I found some new favorites and got to see some old favs in a new light! You need to see episodes 1 and 2 even tho many are saying they drag and are boring. Well, it's like a good book. The first few chapters introduce you to the bigger picture and how things will go. If you ever read the first Harry Potter book? The beginning of that thing was MISERABLE! But after that it was all gravy and made getting through it and the others easier because you had a 'feel' for them. After those first 2 episodes? It moves really really fast! Also, at the very end of most episodes there are little 'Easter eggs' when you think it's done- keep going Most are worth it :) I didn't want to go into too much and reveal everything and it was really, like REALLY hard not to! lol But if you have any questions about this series, I'll answer below with a spoiler tag. Watch it. It's good, a keeper.
