I'm curious though, how did it end in the Webtoon?
in the webtoon yeong soo does kill some of the classmates but not all of then Nara kills him, they decided to keep it a secret that he killed everyone so they can have a funeral, in the end they go back to school and try to live as normal students but they are obviously traumatized by the war (and in Nara's case the trauma and blame of killing someone) and living in eternal alert that another war could start because some of the spheres are still in the sky ps.: if there is any mistake, sorry, english is my second language
for me the problem was not that yeong soo kills everybody, because I read the webtoon and wee already expecting this, but the way it was Mede, first of all, in the webtoon the evolution of him loosing his mind is way better than here, second of all, in the webtoon the story ends with the context of the rest of the class having to deal with surviving a war and that event, so is way more interesting, especially Nara, who is the one that killed him. In my opinion they wasted a lot of time in some plots that could've just not existed, like the voting one, and focus on the arc of yeong soo getting crazy and the one of the kids getting to used to the war. Overall, I don't think this part was so bad as people said here in the comments, just had some problems and was not that well delivered as the first part
tb, in the webtoon is like that, but instead of everyone just 5 people die in that scene, so I belive that even with a next season they won't change that
season 1 was better than this, but different from the rest here, I actually enjoyed this one too, was not a fan of JKI and found his reasons to be quite childish, but for the rest I really enjoyed, the new cases were really interesting, and I loved to see more of the dreams and stories of the rest of the family. 8/10
the first 35 ep were really good, but I thing they lost a little bit in the end just so they could have a little more drama, kinda feels like they didn't know what to do with 40 ep, but overall the drama was really good, the main couple had a lot of chemistry and a healthy relationship (minus the last episodes where they kinda fuck it up) 8/10
just finished the last episode and what a drama, the story was so unique, most sageuk focus on the male character but here you have a story about women and their part in the politics. the queen's relationship, not only with her own kids, but with all the princes was beautiful, really loved this drama
