Ive never tried so hard to finish an actress' dramas 😫. I love seeing her but i cant seem to finish a single…
I'm a new fan of hers and would like to recommend The Long Ballad, she's killing there. The strongest female lead and very complex. You need to give it a chance, Dilraba deserves it.
I started watching TLB few days ago with Dilraba. I was aware of Dilraba as an actress but never witnessed her acting till now. She is killing it in the drama as Li Changge, the strongest woman ever and a character whom I can analyse for days to come. TLB introduced Dilraba to me and I can never forget it. Since my first episode, I've been keeping an eye on her activities and found her very endearing, a nice person. I'm waiting for her every new project and will explore her earlier drama and movies too. She is one gorgeous and kind lady. One you want to admire all your life. She's my favourite now.
It's true I can't finish a single drama of hers, not even The Long Ballad that has Zhao Lusi in it. But all the…
Give The Long Ballad a try. Maybe your opinions will change which will vanish your prejudices and biases. I'm a new fan of her. The Long ballad is my first drama of her. And I'm converted. I seriously loved her acting and how she played her character so well. It's a complex character, not anyone can play it. My love for her is oozing right now. I, from my heart want you to give her a chance in TLB leaving behind your concerns.
Am thinking of a world where everyone is like a li changge, am sure it will be chaotic too. The difference in…
This is what is is. Both of the parallel stories have their own place. People exists of all kind. Leyan grew up through her circumstances too. She developed too like Changge. Both have different situations, brought up differently, their tempers were different. Changge have always been strong and brave and for leyan it took time which is realistic as all kinds of people exist. Both portrayals are different and nice. But to call the romance a BL and FL, emotionless is straight up ignorance. Hope people rise from their prejudices.
Oh, come on, relax a little bit. If not all people have the same opinion or see things the same way, it doesn't…
You have absolutely watched all 49 episodes, I never doubted it. The things I referenced to are the casual remarks you and others made through BL comments, I never mentioned you specifically. My comments are about all the casual remarks ever made or the ones I was able to catch. Those comments were patriarchy leaning, anti feminist and homophobic. These are those things not to be casually talked about. It affects people here and everywhere. I never called people dumb but ignorant or biased, how can they have not enough knowledge if they can analyze their favorite parts so well. There is no right or wrong way to watch a drama but a biased way. Problem is seeing things out of context. I would like to deny this statement that I tagged those people having emotional or psychological problem. Those are your words and very wrong. Your opinion is your opinion and mine is mine but those should be built with context and without biases. And it's fine as you said sorry about those remarks. Thank you.
well... it is what it is. Some people only watch to kill time and so they skip a lot. missing the main point of…
This is it. Thanks I'll keep that in mind. U agree with each and every word here. I'm that one investigator watcher too lol. I'm here to go into the depth. I prefer to see through it all. You are right I need to accept but there were few particular words that riled me up, too casually used. Words are very powerful, they affect you immensely so how and where you are using them matters. Maybe I mingled up what I've been taught till now too much with the drama but then I believe in power of words.
Oh, come on, relax a little bit. If not all people have the same opinion or see things the same way, it doesn't…
So do you accept that you do not know enough to comment on those things? Because casual remarks are what hurt people the most, subtlety kills people, comments without knowledge sparks fire. Commenting casually means you have internalized it, no matter how much you deny it.
I would have chilled if I haven't come across few particular words, people take things too casually and world is burning because of it. Sorry for it though, I'll chill now. It's just my major is focused on analysing so it hurt me a bit to see ignorant remarks.

Nah nothing is wrong in liking things completely different from mine. That's the best part about fiction. You never know what will touch you at what moment and that's the beauty of it. But in order to highlight your liked parts you cannot feign ignorance over other parts, it's all related to each other. No character is stand alone in the story. Everything is connected. It's not acceptable to belittle others in order to praise what you like. Everything has it's place and it's absolutely correct that our opinions can differ but you cannot ignore what is right in front of you. Your way of watching Asian dramas is not wrong but that ignorance is. That's the major problem.
The next point you wrote about, this is my favourite characteristic of art. My interpretation and your interpretation can be different but what we two are seeing is the exact same thing right in front of the eyes. I noticed the ignorance in the comments and disinterest in understanding. What you wrote is exactly what I wrote just the words are different, that we bring our own personalities to the drama and life experiences.
If you are up for analysing, then analyse the correct way. It's achieved after understanding every perspective available to you, connecting dots and creating the links you have missed in the first time. It takes effort to analyse. The bad side, the good side and then your side is your unique analysis. You do not belittle others with your opinions.
This section today is fierce but I think I can comment on these things now as I'm in the middle of the drama and now quite familiar with a lot of things. Reading the things below, I had to ask this question- Am I watching the same drama as some of youwatching or have some of you skipped to the parts you pre decided to watch? I cannot wrap my head around how easily people miss crucial points while watching something. What's the point of watching then? Even if dramas are your escape, you cannot ignore these things. Fiction does not exist independently of the people who watch it, it's the viewer's who brings to the table their personalities, life experiences, ideological prisms and the mood that have at that particular time. Even if it's your way to escape it's still your responsibility to give yourself to this fictional piece as much as it is giving to you.
I think when people want to hate they hate regardless of reality and reasons are just excuses to act upon that…
Oh I agree there are many major characters who carried the drama and well not just the actors, it's team effort. Hoping for both the leads to win awards all big
Been here for couple of days and it's a lot. Other places have 55,100,155.....
I did not bother to comment on others. This place is like you sit at table with your ideas and when others see you, they come rushing to listen to you.
