Found someone who updates everyday about what scenes are being filmed for the day๐ Since it's in chinese, i'll just translate and update here whenever she updates (she buys the cue sheet which has the filming info on it and then vaguely describes it in her post).
What she wrote for today's one: In the day, they're filming riding bicycle (one person per bike) and riding e-scooter (similar to the reuters that came out previously, this time is 6 ppl 3 scooters, but not sure who is sitting with who) scenes. At night they'll be filming a scene where they're eating beef noodles (the person didn't say if its just Yingzi and Jiang Yi or all six of them).
I think it's true. I guess they're done with teenage years that's why even Jin shi jia is said to join the film…
Yeah they don't ever film in order๐ This reuter of Fan Chengcheng was from mid January apparently. It was the period where Yang Zi wasn't around. They prob filmed most of the scenes which didn't need Yang Zi during that period.
For historical dramas, I know that they film by location. So like all the scenes in that location are filmed together. It's because the drama needs to pay to use the place for filming, so they'll pay for the number of days they need and then film all the scenes there in one shot. Whereas if they film in order, they have to keep running from one place to another, which is extremely inefficient. And also because most historical dramas are filmed in Hengdian, all the dramas are fighting for filming locations, so it's not possible to run around like that. As for modern dramas, I think its also similar. Like in this drama, they filmed all the scenes in the high school within the same week, and it's because they can only film during this time where the students are on holiday. So the drama crew usually plans it in a way that it'll be the most efficient, and not by the order of the scenes.
Why is he just entering the filming group? What's his role?
Nobody knows what his role is cos his character doesn't appear in the novel. Most ppl suspect that his character only appears in the grown up years portion of the drama, because from the day they started filming until now they've only been filming the teenage years.
I swear this is the uniform they're using all through ๐
I don't think skirts are a thing even now in China. I see that most schools now still use the tracksuit uniform. For example, at the school that they are currently filming at, the actual students there are also wearing the tracksuit uniform, just a different colour๐ I think skirts are only a thing in Korea.
Yes it is very important that the casts dont come up with any scandals before the drama airs. We definitely don't…
Ohh ok. But actually it depends on the storyline too. Go Ahead was 46 eps but i think that the storyline was developed quite well and it wasn't too long in my opinion.

Yeah 40 eps is a bit too many. I haven't heard of Adam working with one of the producers, but I don't really keep up with his stuff so i'm also not sure๐

Hahaha so true๐ In Psychologist it was mostly Jevon Wang's additional screentime that everyone was angry about. Hopefully it doesn't happen again in this drama. Apparently Yulele's boss treats him very well, so we just gotta hope for the best๐

Yeah they better give the main leads the screentime they deserve. It's even more worrying for this drama since it's more of a group centred kinda drama, and also Yulele's history of what they did with Psychologist๐ฌ For the kiss scene in Immortal Samsara, nobody knows the real reason why they cut it out, but most ppl suspect that it's because there were many reuters of that scene coming out after they filmed it. That's why you can see so many videos of that kiss scene even though it wasn't aired.
Reuter of Huang Yingzi and Jiang Yi arguing๐

Jin Shijia will be entering the filming group soon
