I’m glad I’m not the only one. 🤣 look, I love Wu lei and I think him as ling bu yi is forever engrained…
I think I meant that in the sentence like he feels the need to do more than kiss her.. I might need to edit that.
Okay up until maybe the part where he shows up for her during the comp and it’s assuming we don’t know yet that he’s going back for her. I mean yes, that all shows his dedication towards her, but like how bout start by telling her why he retired and why it’s such a big deal for him to be at her game. 😅
5 days into the relationship and he was already so physically affectionate. I mean I get it if you’re talking months in cause that feels somewhat normal, but it feels so soon for me
Guess I'm allergic to too much sweetness lol I just have to skip some scenes, because it's too awkward and cringe…
🙋🏻♀️ me too! Some things are a bit cringe for me too. It’s a little OTT but some are def sweet. The director added a lot of these scenes in one episode lol I feel the need to catch a breath.
at ep 11 and I still don't know how I feel about this drama or the MC... my 2 cents...firstly, the foreigners…
I’m glad I’m not the only one. 🤣 look, I love Wu lei and I think him as ling bu yi is forever engrained in my heart. But him as LYY is a tad weird. All I got from this show so far is his constant need to either kiss her or have some physical affection like as if he needs to do more with her than just kissing her. Granted, she’s 21 in the show and she’s in a foreign country and they’d only gotten to know each other for such a short time. His advances towards her seem OTT. It’s no wonder she’s always dodging it most of the time. Don’t get me wrong, some things are reminiscent of the early days trying to court someone but pushing them against a fridge and sniffing them isn’t one of them 😂
But anyway, that’s MY 2 cents. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with Wu Lei and his acting, I just think the script isn’t doing him justice for what he can do. He’s a great actor and super dedicated at that, but his role here to me feels a bit undershot. If anything, I love the scenes they actually play pool in, think those scenes are more interesting.
I've seen some clips of WAY on Divas; he seems to be quite cute in person. When he cooks, it reminds me Yuan Qi.…
He’s actually really funny and you can tell what kind of a person he is in real life. I’m honestly enjoying watching it. Def watch it if you’re wanting to kill some time till the next drama! 🤭
Is there a next big hit drama similar to this expected to come out this year?
Loved their pairing of WAY and LS. I really hope we get to see them reunite in a modern drama. 🥲 or better yet, tell me they’re dating in real life hahaha
Also I caught on to watching Divas on Silk Road with WAY in it and it’s actually such an entertaining reality show in case anyone else wants something to watch.
Omg all the feels with the ending 😭😭 the last few episodes were good. Can I just say, every time Lu Si cried holy cow, I couldn’t hold my own tears back. You can literally see her hands shake, such a good actress! Though this def gave off similar ALP vibes. Started the series unsure but I’m glad I finished it 😌🫶🏻
So ready for the express episodes 😅 I’m really hoping they’ll offer it. I just want to skip past till the end now and get to the good parts 😂. I assume there’s still the plot of them defeating Qing Lin or something? Or do they go through another tribulation?
rather it matches with his godfather tian qi's?? I'm confused too
I honestly can’t remember now 😂 but if my memory serves me right, Shang gu didn’t really acknowledge bai jue as the father- it was Qing Mu, that’s why after she gave birth, she actually names him A Qi - but the qi was to signify abandonment and the fact that both his parents were going to leave him or lave left.. but Tian Qi turned the Qi to his Qi which means ‘to open’ I think, and also gave him his name, she pretty much asks Tian Qi to look after him and raise him like his own with Feng Ran after she dies
What did Avenue x say, i feel like she doesn't like lusi, so she always find issues with lusi shows, am not saying…
Haha Sokay! I’ve learnt not get my knickers in a twist when it comes to drama land, people have their own opinions. She’s clearly stirred up a lot of people 😂
I’m just still mind blown that it took me ages to figure out the connection with ALP. It’s details like that which I watch reviews for.
