I know it may seem like an open ending. But I thought it was necessary. Taking down Tawi is just the start of their journey. Tawi is just one person. They are up against a whole system. It has a message of promise. And that the boys will continue to fight. Until they think they have fully reached their goal
Black not coming back to the group also makes sense. He has always been a lone wolf. And seeing that White has carved his own seat amongst the gang, he wouldn’t want to take that away.
As a twin, he’ll probably want a life that is separate from White. But their bond will always be there, and will always be special
I wasn’t disappointed with how a final episode ended. First off, I LOVE how, what came to the boys’ rescue wasn’t a ‘hero’ or someone from the authorities. It was significantly profound that the ones who saved them, were the same people they’ve inspired to stand up. There was such solidarity and unity in that scene. It reminded us that we do not walk this path alone. As P’Nuchy said, it isn’t just about me, or you. It’s about all of us. Together we can be great.
